1 month in. Advice please.
« on: January 25, 2017, 05:33:41 AM »
Hi peeps.
Have done very clean paleo for a month. No alcohol, no sugar. Few carrots, mushrooms, cauli, broccoli, zucchini.
A very few pieces of fruit.
I have lost 14 .2 lbs so far which is great.
Question. Should I carry on exactly the same or adjust what, or the amount I am eating to ensure weight loss continues.
I have between 36 and 50 lbs to lose.
Thank you.

Holy wow! Amazing and inspiring for me still struggling. Would you mind describing to me a typical day of eating/meal plan? If your feeling great your body will thrive given enough nutrients

Well i mainly drink black earl grey tea and water. Not enough plain water to be honest. I eat steak, pork chops, lamb chops. I do eat unsmoked green bacon from our local butcher and proper large free range eggs. Had quite a bit of fish. Roll mops. Skate. Seabass. I do mainly use coconut oil but also a bit of butter. I dont eat at particular times. Just when i am hungry and quite often just once a day. If i wake up hungry i feel that is good. A little fruit maybe half a dozen oranges and two apples.
Oh confession. I had a hot chocolate drink one evening. My exercise comes from working in a shop twice a week and all the roads round here are hills. Been walking everywhere.

Thanks for the detailed info. So no vegetables?just meat, fish, eggs fruit and water, tea. Exactly what I've been wanting to do. And love the one meal a day too. Been looking at warrior diet woe for some time. I find if i eat in the morning i dont stop and crave everything all day :-[ I like the light energetic feeling that comes with holding off until laterVery inspiring!

That is fairly high rate of loss - usually folks shoot for 2 lbs. a week on average of loss or gain of weight.

Do you feel ok?  Not dizzy or lightheaded or nauseous?  Listen to your body - I am not surprised however with your diet improvements.

No nausea, dizziness, ive been eating a lot. Greens have included brussel sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, mushrooms and courgettes. But not a huge amount. So i shd expect to go to about 2lbs a week now Eric?

slowing down... I have a potato yearning... Should I give in or resist. Thinking of a baked spud with butter.

I'm not the best influence perhaps but I believe there are worse things. Sometimes a potatoe just fixes everything and loaded with healthy nutrients: )

I think I will add a baked potato to my pork chop tonight.
skin on. all the vitamins in. cooked with coconut oil. :)
I will reveal if it appears to have a bad effect.

The way I see it, better a potatoe sooner than junk food cravings later! Enjoy
