Am I eating enough meat

I just started eating Paleo and I am not sure if I am eating enough meat.  The other morning for breakfast I ate 7 oz. of skinned chicken breast.  That seemed like an awful lot.  The reason I ask i because I only saw .5 lb. come off and 1" from my waist come off in week.  I was kinda dissappointed.  Granted, I cheated about 6 meals last week.  I guess that could have something to do with it.  So far this week its been nothing but Paleo.... :)  Any suggestions would be appreciated!

You want more fatty meat and probably more fat overall - what's with the skinned chicken breast? What vegetables are you eating? What fats? It's not about high protein low carb. It's about fresh natural food that contains lots of nutrients.

Also, stop weighing and measuring. You will not get a feel for your hunger if you weigh and measure. If you focus less on how fast you can go, and more on food choices at each meal (because it's your choice) you will probably be more successful if your

Post a food journal so we can see what you are actually eating.

Thanks for your reply Avelin.  Here it goes.  All I cook with is Olive Oil.  I eat alot of arugala with just Olive Oil and Salad Vinegar and salt to taste.  I normally will either eat chicken breasts (i dont like dark meat) or beef (fajitas, sirloin, ground beef).  As far as the veggies go, I eat frozen green beans, or the frozen california medley, frozen broccoli.  Here is an example from food journal:

Breakfast
3 scrambled eggs
5 pieces of bacon

Snack
Orange

Lunch
Ground Beef mixed with California Medley Vegetables
Salad

Snack
Banana

Dinner
2 Chicken Breasts
California Medley Vegetables

Snack
Banana


Water....water....and more water. No tea. No coffee.

Am I doing it all wrong?

That looks pretty good, though I'd replace the chicken breasts with fattier meat, or at least make sure to include skin.

6 cheat meals is a lot - some women see weight loss stalls with even 1 cheat meal a week.  I suspect that's what needs the most work.  At least you have gotten past the most difficult part - admitting to yourself that they are cheat meals - now you just have to cut them out.
