Any good Paleo Cookbooks/Recipe Collections?
« on: July 15, 2016, 06:42:57 AM »
Hey all,

I'm still new to the diet/lifestyle so I'm trying to feel out what my options are foodwise and finding simple recipes that taste good. My sister loaned me her copy of Beachbody's Fixate cookbook (https://www.beachbody.com/product/fitness_gear/fixate-cookbook-recipes.do) which has some really delicious stuff in it, but variety is the spice of life right?

What are your favorite Paleo meals to cook?

There are so many good cookbooks and websites (free recipes) out there. Here's a list of a few of the more popular paleo sites:

Paleo Grubs has a good cookbook out there and so does paleohacks. Amazon will give you all of the cookbooks in the world and the Ultimatepaleoguide has a meal plan program that you can sign up for. There are so many options. Do a quick google search and you'll find everything that you need. Lastly, I publish free recipes on my blog as well. Just find what works for you and most importantly have fun exploring paleo cooking and eating.

Good Luck,

Gray

Keep in mind that many of the supposedly "paleo" cookbooks out there aren't actually very paleo.  Personally I prefer picking out paleo recipes from comprehensive cookbooks like the old Joy of Cooking.

I have found and tried some recipes here.  To Warrens point, I know there are some that are not 100% Paleo but most seem to be.  Good luck!

Tons and tons of free recipes available on Blogs, Forums and Paleo websites. Just google Paleo recipes. One of my favorites is 1000 paleo recipes. You can learn about it at [http://www.mypaleofoods.com] It's not free but is broken down nicely into various categories to help plan meals. Either way (or both ways) you have nearly an endless supply of recipes and meals.
