Yes, they would surely ignore it. Denial. That's all that is.

Total : Wed Jan 14 - Tue Feb 3

Average Calories: 4105
Average Fat: 86%

Expected: 5.4 kg body fat gain
Actual: 4.3 kg body fat loss

http://magicbus.myfreeforum.org/sutra30994.php#30994

This should speak loud and clear for itself.

I've been over consuming calories since Nov 24, 2008. Since then, I've lost 10.3 kg of body fat!

In November, I was not able to button my size 34 jeans. Now, I cannot wear those jeans, cuz they fall off me. The size 33 jeans I have been wearing are falling down to the point I won't be able to wear those anymore here real soon. I had a large bulging belly back in November, and now, my fat roll around my belly is getting very small. When I'm sitting down, I can still grab some fat, and so, I've still got some to lose. Eating this way, I'm totally sure that, no matter how much I eat, I will lose every bit of body fat I have. Stay tuned and watch for yourself. Better yet, try this out on yourself and you will discover the truth.

All that dairy is messing you up!  Dairy doesn't count as food  ;)

That seems to be the case.

I'm giving it one more week to see if this trend continues.

I've also noticed some sinus issues as well as craving problems. I crave cheese and it makes me crave sugar. Not the same as when doing fatty meat.

It will be interesting to see what happens this week and the next two, when I drop the dairy for a couple weeks.

Week 5 went much better than week 4.

Did you stop eating dairy the second day into week 5?

I got the impression that you ate substantially less dairy in week 5 after noticing it was making you ill...

Yes, I'm totally through with dairy, except butter. My sinuses are extremely affected by dairy, as well as my gut. I can handle butter, no problem, but all the rest of the dairy causes bloating and other bad things. After being off of it for nearly three months, the reactions to dairy for that one week were not pleasant. I'm through with it for good.

Does anyone know what Dean was eating to get up to that fat %?
The answer to your question is 'eat more fat'.

Stop counting calories. If you are eating Paleo, there is usually no need.

If you are having weight loss issues, it'd be a good idea to start posting a detailed food journal, then everyone can help.

'Anecdotal Evidence' is an oxymoron.

If you read back, samjohn, it looks like he was eating dairy for around 5 weeks, so I'm thinking butter and cream would give a lot of fat and would be pretty easy to do. He mentioned keeping butter.

Nah he brought the dairy in briefly, and cut it out quite quickly.

From other threads on other forums it seems he was drowing fatty meat in lard and tallow.

Could I suggest this thread be made sticky? It really illustrates how calorie counting is not as important as most would tihnk.
