I've been on Paleo for 1-1/2 years now. 42 years old, 5'8, male. Before Paleo: 157lbs. After Paleo: a lean 147lbs. I do HIIT training 3 times a week.
Why did I go on Paleo? I'm trying to get more lean and lose some stomach body fat that jiggles when I run etc...
My diet is strict. Meat, eggs, veggies and berries and I snack on unsalted nuts. I also drink a lot of water.
Once in a while I'll do the 80/20 rule.
I do get an ice cream with my son 1-2 times a month and snack on a small package of M&M's, Snickers or Reese's Peanut Butter cups a few times a week.
Even after the "occasional" sugar snack I managed to keep my weight at 147lbs.
Is what I'm doing ok?
