Do I have to?
« on: February 02, 2012, 04:43:40 PM »
Hey, I have a question for ya'll, do I HAVE to eat breakfast? I'm not a huge breakfast eater so most of the time I don't even eat until 11:30, which is when my lunch break is at work. SO, do I HAVE to eat it or can I continue to skip since there is no desire to even eat when I get up?

Eat whan you are hungry.  Some people here eat only one meal a day.
No expectations, no disappointments!

Do you sleep when you aren't tired? Why eat when you aren't hungry?

Yes. What you need more often is water.

There are actually some studies that show intermittent fasting is quite healthy. The longest that you want to go though is about 18 hours, or one meal. After than there are no benefits seen and you start to get some muscle wasting.

Eat when hungry
Eat a big meal
If you are trying to lose fat dont snack.

Every couple of days I'll skip breakfast. As Talkurt said, intermittent fasting can be good for you. Our ancestors probaby didn't eat three square meals a day - they didn't always know when or where their next meal was coming.

I rarely have breakfast.  I tend to sleep 2am-10.30, and have brunch at about 12 and dinner at 7 or 8.

If I wake up hungry then I eat.  Sometimes I'm not hungry but have a big cooked breakfast, in which case I won't have lunch...it's an opportunistic thing!
