From your own training, Wlfdg, how has your training changed by going Paleo? Would you say the improvements are a lot better?
The major improvement I would say is the much improved rate of recovery. At 43 that's a big deal!
On a related note: how important is eating before a workout? What about after? How does fasting affect gains?
For me having a pre-training snack is super important since I train after fasting all night. I feel post anaerobic training having a meal is important. I don't feel that same urge after endurance activities.
I don't think fasting affects gains as long as you don't put yourself in a catabolic state.
