Meat and Davids Tea
« on: January 20, 2012, 03:08:16 PM »
Hello
So I'll begin with saying that I am fairly new to the whole idea behind this diet but I am definitely looking forward to beginning! I am having a problem finding the right kind of meat.. I live in Lloydminster AB and have very limited resources.. the best I found is from a Harvest to Home store and is raised locally... range fed and some grain but they claim absolutely no growth hormones, antibiotics etc.etc. Is this okay to have? As well I love my tea more so the "organic detox" from Davids Tea it has rooibos, sencha green tea, ginger, lemongrass, ginkgo, juniper berries with nature lemon flavouring is this okay to continue having? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!

Dont get caught in in how perfect your food is in the beginning. Even if you just cut out grains legumes and dairy and eat generic store bought cheap meat and veggies you are going to be way better off. Now if you have the money, time and inclination to find that perfect food local farmers are usually pretty easy to find for produce. The meat that you found sounds pretty damn good. That small amount of grain in the feed its a good thing but a lot better than the local grocery i would guess. Tea and coffee seems to be ok for most so dont worry about that.

Just dont lie to yourself and say "I dont have grassfed, pastured beef and garden grown broccoli so im gonna eat a sandwich. :p
