White wine, good quality ice cream, cappuccinos (decaf, no choc- it's the sweet creamy milky coffee I like).

Would be beer too, but I haven't touched it since I discovered I am gluten intolerant. Those consequences are too much to risk, even as a one off.

Cheese has always been an issue for me, but funnily I don't fancy it now after 2 and a bit weeks paleo. It seems kind of gross. Which is weird as I've been off it for much longer before and always struggled with it. I wonder if I was craving it for fat, and now I am getting enough fat in my meals, the appeal is gone.

Beer for me as well - partly for the alcohol I suppose, although I'm not so keen on red wine any more - I've find it tastes too strongly of alcohol.

Since I was a kid I've always loved cheese - my mother says that when I was 1 year old I used to ask for it constantly and she once gave me some Danish Blue to put me off it but I liked it. I haven't missed it one bit since I started paleo.

Cheese is the one thing I miss. I'm thinking about having a little test run with it, as I've been Paleo long enough that my body will tell me if it doesn't agree.

The answer to your question is 'eat more fat'.

Stop counting calories. If you are eating Paleo, there is usually no need.

If you are having weight loss issues, it'd be a good idea to start posting a detailed food journal, then everyone can help.

'Anecdotal Evidence' is an oxymoron.

I do cheese every so often. If it's soft, mushy cheese, it upsets my stomach and gives me gas. Harder cheeses are fine, though

It seems kind of gross because it is kind of gross.  I mean, seriously, it's basically rotted milk solids!

I think you're right - people on a modern western diet crave it only because their diets are so lacking in healthy fats.

Oh no. You've got me thinking of cheese the way I used to always think of alcohol. :)
