Good article! Covers avoiding overtraining syndrome. Very important information on things such as importance of nutrition, esp. pre-training and post-training.

Most of the symptoms of over training are the same as the symptoms of being a couch potato except for the weight loss. Couch potatoes gain weight (fat).  You don't need to be a body builder to suffer the effects of over training.

    *  Higher resting heart rate
    * Weak appetite
    * High blood pressure
    * Weight loss
    * Trouble sleeping
    * Increased metabolic rate
    * Irritability
    * Early onset of fatigue
