Best way to get rid of body fat

I currently do crossfit 5 times a week with of course 2 rest days. Unless I'm feeling froggy.
I'm about 98-99% paleo. I just want to know how to cut body fat a bit faster. Everything seems to just be stuck in my stomach and chest area.

My body composition goal is 8-11 percent BF.


Can anyone help me out?

Cut back on paleo friendly sugars. Only eat fruit after you workout and then just avoid sugar like the plague the rest of the day. If you drink fruit juice, cut that out. Altering sugar intake is one of the best ways to tweak a paleo diet for faster weight loss from my research, and it's working for me. And ease up on the crossfit madness! Your body builds muscle while it's resting, not working out.

I do crossfit 4 times a week and eat Paleo 80% and slowly its working. Crossfit is great WOD and it works. You can scale your WOD's to fit your routines, but Crossfit wont hurt you at all enjoy it :)

How do you guys figure out your Paleo percentage? It seems so odd to say "80% paleo". Does that mean that 4 meals you eat paleo and the 5th you have fettuccine alfredo?

No, you just kind of gage it by the way you eat. I say 98% because I'll have less than a cup of milk a week. And I only use the milk for my coffee...unless I'm feeling froggy and want it all black.

And thanks for the person that does CF.
I scale up most of the time now. We did sprint, power clean, burpees yesterday. And of course wanted to die in those 10 minutes of working out...haha

Yes I am same way I just eat Dinner strict and snacks but sometimes I have Potato or oatmeal so I say that and yes to CF WOD Its so addicting I love  it and BTW I am female since name looks as I am Male.. Noone will ever tell me it is bad or does not work cause I am proof

   Its not a one day goal and requires some time to achieve this.Unfortunatley the best and fastest way to eliminate fat (esp off the lower body) is running. I know, I hate running, too, but it is the absolute best way.
No it isn't. Infact it's not even a good way. Running releases cortisol and the body catabolizes lean tissue.
Less lean tissue you carry the less efficient the body is at burning fat for fuel.
Since the best way to reduce bodyfat is to increase lean body mass running is at the bottom of the list.
Lots of skinny runners. Not a whole lot of lean ones.

Spot reduction is a falacy.

For me, hill Sprints melt fat.

Abs are truly built in the kitchen though.

Low reps with heavy weights will rip the fat off the new muscle you are packing on.  Depending on how fat you currently are, you will lean out fast lifting even faster lifting than running, swimming, or biking...

1) lift heavy, low reps, not too often.  5x per week is a lot of cross fit.  Probably better to do heavy lifting 3x per week
2) anaerobic work (liberates fat) followed by low level cardio (e.g. hiking) (burns fat)
3) minimise carb and sugar intake, maximise fat intake -

5 x a week is a lot of crossfit. 5X a week of any very strenuous exercise may be overdoing it.

Bicycling burns a lot of fat as well and is less strenuous than running. The only caveat is that you almost have to do it daily for at least 30 miles a day, or do long 100+ mile rides and the fat melts off. Once I'm in shape enough to do long rides, I plan on peddling the weight off.

I hate to break it to you Jim, as an endurance athlete, first hand experience tells me that steady state/endurance training is the least effective way to burn fat. Building lean body mass is #1!

I hear ya, but I bicycle a bit differently. I go at a casual pace, like walking, and the hills provide the intermittent heavy workout similar to sprinting a short distance.  I do agree that full out endurance bicycling is not the healthy way to go. This is how I used to ride about 10 years ago and I'd lose close to a pound a day doing that.
