morning - coffee with coconut milk

lunch - chunks of cucumber, half tomato few cos leaves, chicken dunked in pesto

evening - fish with greens cooked in chicken stock

snacky stuff - frozen watermelon and coconut milk, passionfruit, couple of macadamias

Wednesday 23 March

morning - coffee

lunchish - minced beef cooked with evoo, red capsicum, tomatoes, eggplant, garlic and onion, seasoned with basil, oregano and rosemary (also known as 'nightshades of awesomeness')

evening - delish stew of fatty and boney beef, tomato, onion, garlic, carrot, parsnip, celery, lots of oregano and basil and some thyme and black pepper, broccoli on the side

snacky stuff - half peach, last piece of frozen watermelon and coconut milk *sob*, a few macadamias and almonds

lunch - same as yesterday plus a few iceberg leaves + tsp pesto

evening - tomato/capsicum based almost madras beef curry

snacky stuff - half peach, some macadamias and almonds, passionfruit

Saturday 26 March

morning - black coffee, plain omelette

lunch - tuna cooked with a little of the dinner stew sauce, lettuce

dinner - beef stew with tomato, celery, tomato paste, carrot, zucchini, onion and garlic,  parsley, thyme, marjoram, black pepper (will be eating this for a couple of days)
On a bed of steamed asian greens, broccoli on the side

snacky stuff - almonds, macadamias, chai with coconut milk and I found a last block of frozen fruit salad yay

Well, it was 4 weeks yesterday that I decided to clean up my diet. I can't believe I forgot to mention it. I cut all sugars and sweetenings, and the dairy bits that I used as cheats (ghee, butter and cream). The only bit I actually miss is the ghee. I have no plans to ditch coffee and the kazillion teas I drink.

morning - coffee with coconut milk, omelette with some pesto on the side.

lunch - tuna cooked with beef fat, cauliflower, broccoli, carrot, onion and lettuce

evening - minced beef with onion, loads of red capsicum and parsley, marjoram, basil, thyme, sage and black pepper, silverbeet on the side (it was so crisp when I picked it, like stiff brown paper that crackles when it's scrunched)

snacky stuff - almonds, macadamias and pear coconut milk custard, green tea

Monday 28 March

morning - black coffee, couple of boiled eggs with pesto

lunch - left over mince from the night before with  baby cos lettuce

evening - mince with lots of carrot, cauli, broccoli, onion and red capsicum cooked in fat (yeah it's just more mince but I had defrosted more without thinking) and I think I threw in some thyme and black pepper

snacky stuff - small plum, coffee with coconut milk, chai with coconut milk, almonds

Tuesday 29 March

morning - 2 coffee (one with coconut milk), two boiled eggs with pesto

lunch - big salad with tuna (put pesto on it because it was canned in springwater  but most stuff in oil is in soy oil yuk) I keep emergency canned fish at work in case I forget my lunch

evening - heated up some beef stew (the one with the tomato and mushroom) and had a lot of greens from the garden stirfried in beef fat and a little steamed pumpkin on the side

snacky stuff - small plum, coffee with coconut milk, almonds

Weird food day

morning - black coffee, 2 soft boiled eggs yummo

afternoon and evening - so there were bacon offcuts and fatty bits and rind being rendered for fat, then baked crisp for munching, chicken cooked into chicken soup (soup & chicken pieces stored separately), making and tasting and altering kidney soup, and an attempt to use up finely chopped (but not ground) almonds and coconut by making them into almond, coconut and cocoa muffins with very little honey and all of this involved tasting stuff.

The muffin thingies only had about 2 tbsp honey for 12 muffins and the mixture looked like quicksand but very dark brown, so they have been named shitsand muffins. After a month with no sweetening at all they tasted very sweet to me and I had one bite and that was enough.

morning - 2 eggs in chicken fat, black coffee

lunch - mince with vegetables

evening - lamb neck stew (just lamb, onion, garlic, carrot, stock, thyme and bay leaf) and threw the silverbeet into the stew to cook

snacky stuff - half an apple, soma almonds, bacon crackling (well I tried some)

non paleo - another of those muffins I made (I'm glad I ground the almonds and coconut myself) but the rest will be thrown out.

lunch - chicken soup with baby bok choy and half a small orange

evening - beef with onion, rosemary and thyme, coupla different greens stirfried in fat

snacky stuff - macadamias, black chai, passionfruit

Increasing fat - will try to add about a big teaspoon per meal

morning - baby spinach omelette cooked in fat, black coffee

lunch - lamb liver cooked in fat, small salad of plum tomato, cos, telegraph cucumber, red capsicum

evening - beef stew (good old onion, celery and carrot), tatsoi stirfried in fat

snacky stuff - coffee with coconut milk, plum, almonds and macas, herb tea

Sunday 3rd April

lots of fats today again today

morning - 2 black coffee, 2 egg omelette with pesto

lunch - unspiced liverwurst (lamb liver and onion lightly cooked in fat, melted fat to add, parsley, then blend and season to taste) on cos lettuce, couple pieces of dry fried eggplant

evening - lamb necks with silverbeet

snacky stuff - liverwurst, various black and herb tea, almonds

Note: this is pretty much a basic liverwurst although sometimes I leave out the onion too

Continuing to add extra fat - today was mostly as coconut milk and a couple of extra eggs

B 2 soft boiled eggs, coffee with coconut milk

L liverwurst with small salad

D basic beef stew (beef fat, onion, celery, carrot) with side of stirfried greens - bok choy, baby bok choy, tatsoi and choy sum in part coconut and part olive oil

S coffee with coconut milk, basic coconut milk custard with extra grated coconut added,black  tea
