All the meat, except for pork, which is factory farmed, ugh, we get here is grass fed, and I haven't noticed a difference, other than the leanness of the beef. It is nice to be able to buy it straight from the grocery store, but I imagine that our prices are probably higher than the US. I pay about 5 or 6 dollars a pound for hamburger and steak is pretty much out of the question except for special occasions. But we use meat very sparingly in our diet so it isn't much of a hardship.
I think a lot of the intestinal difficulties that people have from cruciferous vegetables can be overcome if you just keep eating them regularly. It is a question of building up enough bacterial flora in the gut to cope with it. I eat cabbage pretty much every day at this time of year without any problems whatsoever. Suze
