saturday food

breakfast
small beef patty
nuts, fresh blackberries, dried gogi/blue/cranberries w coconut milk

lunch
1 boiled egg, salmon (200 cals worth), green salad leaves.
raspberries, blackberries (small bowl)
2 squares 80% coco chocolate (100 cals)
black coffee

dinner
beef steak (not that much)
a little salad
CHEAT - about 15 chips (fries) not good but there are worse things
1 class white wine

late snack
2 walnuts 2 pecans some berries

The beef patty at breakfast keeps me a lot fuller than the single egg does.

I went out to dinner with my friends to a beef restaurant.  They thought it was funny when I ordered the steak sandwich 'with no tomatoes please, oh and no bread'.  I wish they hadn't brought it with chips, then I wouldn't have eaten them.

Reaching a decision about weight.  I'm doing more modelling now so have decided to drop half an inch more.  Need to be stricter about cheats, it's not been a good week in that respect

gymnastics tomorrow!!

wednesday food

breakfast
fresh black berries, some dried goji/blue berries, nuts, coconut milk.  a little less than normal
egg

lunch
as for tuesday (actually was only 1/2 small avocado)

dinner
as yesterday but with spinach not courgette
1 prune
1 apricot
3 brazil nuts

I hope to loose some weight this week.  I've cut the pine nuts, walnut oil, beetroot and carrot from my lunch and 1 instead of 1.5 fish fillets.  No root veg at dinner either.  (I miss it actually).  Trying to cut down on the nut snacking

You don't seem to eat a lot as it is are you sure you can cut out more nutrients?

If I ate what you've been I would crash and burn and die every afternoon.  Or my co-workers would be in danger of their lives...although I wouldn't recommend resorting to cannibalism, always gives me the shakes.

Your sardines and mackerel sound like good ideas for snacking though, I might try adding those in.

Good luck with the weekend approaching, smiley face.

you're right, I don't eat so much - but I am tiny - 5'1'' - and only doing 45 mins of walking every day, so not burning as much as a normal sized person doing more exercise!

When I reach my goal waist size (25", only 0.5" to go) then I will eat more to maintain.  I don't want to get completely minuscule!

Sardines are much nicer fried than out the can.  Do it over a high heat and use the ones in olive oil.  (I know it's veg oil but I like to think the omega-3s in the sardines balance it out!)

Weekend I'm going to make...laksa curry - my favourite!

friday food

breakfast
as yesterday plus 1 bite-size beef patty
vitamin d
fish oil capsule

lunch
as yesterday but with small grilled salmon steak and 1/2 avocado
mint tea

dinner
small salmon steak
lettuce

2 beers
1 gin and tonic
1 fruit cocktail

So, I went out on Friday night with friend and her work colleagues.  We all went to a korean restaurant and I had to deal with being grilled by one of the guys why I couldn't eat what everyone else was eating.  Not very nice actually.  I just said I was allergic to loads of stuff....

Saturday food

Breakfast
water.  hungover
jasmine tea
4 slices salami

lunch
went to wagamamas, a noodle place.  Literally nothing paleo on the menu so got a coconut curry w chicken and rice noodles.  Also had beansprouts in it which I didn't eat, red pepper which I did eat, pak choi (ok), mushrooms (ok), rice noodles only ate a few.
Knew there wasn't enough food/fat in what I had so came home and ate
bite size beef patty
coconut milk + some nuts and berries

Going to Cambridge tonight to see family.  As have noticably lost weight this week am sure will be given into trouble!

dinner
chicken and mushroom terrine w salad
grilled salmon w veg (carrots/broccoli/cauliflower)
glass white wine
strawberry daiquiri

sunday food

breakfast
a few nuts and dried berries
2 rashers bacon
1 fried egg

lunch
parsnip and carrot soup (made w bacon fat, v. yum)
roast lamb (not organic but most likely pastured)
roast carrots and parsnips (quite a few....)
mixed leaves
raspberries
2 squares dairy milk (aaargh!!)

dinner
some nuts and berries
can sardines in sunflower oil, fried
spinach
boiled organic egg
mint tea
vitamin d
calcium/vitamin d and k

quite a carb heavy weekend!

I'm starting to find, that the less I drink, the less I want to drink.  Pre-paleo I would have been very keen for post-dinner cocktails in hotel bars, but now my sister has to practically pour it down my neck!

monday food

breakfast
boiled egg
fresh blackberries/blue berries w normal nuts, dried goji/blue berries and ccnut milk

lunch
boiled egg
small piece salmon
lot of mixed leaves
4 squares organic 85% chocolate

dinner
laksa curry with - shallots, ginger, garlic, mussels, prawns, ccnut milk, tsp ghee, broccoli, courgette, cabbage
a few nuts
dried apricot

I really should stop eating so much dark chocolate.  It doesn't have that many carbs and at least it's more of a paleo (ie high in mono unsats) kind of fat but I should just have an egg instead, or some carrots or mushrooms.  But it's just so yum!!

Haven't been shopping yet this week.  Out of most food!

Starting to think should replace morning nuts with another egg.  Thoughts, anyone??

weds food

Biljkeheser or whatever his name is with the cool caveman photo as his pic recommended a few times cutting out all nuts for weight loss.

I'm no expert however as I was naughty all last weekend and have been whipped repeatedly this week.  Plus trying to gain weight.  I have introduced your mackerel and sardines ideas as snacks.  Although apparently I'm not allowed to get them in brine, olive oil only.

Personally I'd say you're about as tiny as you are going to get without doing some damage.  Stick with it.

Over to the hive mind however.  ???

nuts, chocolate and booze, I fear!  :-[

The sardines in brine are fine, I just find that they are a bit too 'wet' to fry as nicely!

I'm not really that small for my height, actually - 5'1" and 120 pounds or so.  When I was 17, my waist measure was 23", so I don't think I'm being too unrealistic....
