I did not exercise today. So proud of myself. Very hard for me to take rest days. Of course it's 12:45 a.m. and I can't sleep because I have S :o :o :o :o much energy. I did cut my food intake a bit, carbs especially.

6:30a.m. - big glass of water and an orange
7:00a.m.- 5 egg whites, 1 whole egg, 1 cup of spinach
11:30a.m.- small apple
3:45p.m.- 1lb. roast pork, small avocado, orange
8:30p.m.-4 small chicken breasts (1.25 lbs.), a carrot

I didn't want the carrot. My girlfriend still isn't getting glycemic index and glycemic load. She made dinner.
The night before she poached a beautiful piece of salmon in red wine. She is trying.  :-\ I told her it was O.K. and that it was my first cheat meal in a over 3 weeks.
She's having a hard time accepting my "Just plain food" philosophy.

Well the day before yesterday I managed to give my self food poisoning  :( with my roast pork lunch that sat out too long.

Yesterday I didn't eat until late in the day
3:00 p.m.- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts, an orange and a lot of grapes.
8:00 p.m.- 2 lbs. of broiled salmon.
In between and after dinner I ate 2 more oranges and 1 lb. of grapes. I was craving fruit.

Today
6:30a.m. big glass of water and my normal spinach and eggs
10:00- an orange
1:00- 2 boneless chicken breasts, an orange, a handful of walnuts, and a banana
2-4p.m. hike
Dinner- roasted elk roast

Water & coffee
boulder workout
Spinach omolette 5 whites, 1 whole egg, 1 cup spinach, handful walnuts, coffee
Mtn. bike ride
2 boneless, skinless, chicken breasts avocado, orange
2 1hr. massages
1.5 lbs. of roasted pork loin

I think I am at the point where I'm using coffee as an ergogenic aid instead of a crutch.  :-\
We shall see on my next rest day  ???

Today makes 4 weeks and I feel amazing!
My blood sugar levels are stable all day.

I have NO cravings for anything at all.

My recovery rates are incredible!!!!!

My asthma is a non-issue.  :o 8)

I don't have a dire need for food after even really hard exercise sessions.

My girlfriend keeps calling skinny and telling me my body appearance is changing.

I think I am down about 1/2 a waist size?

I can't wait to see what I look like at 90 days. I know this is a lifestyle for me now. My athletic performance matters most to me. At 42 I need to find a fountain of youth of some kind.

Congrats on your progress!

The lack of hunger is great isn't it?   It's good to not be controlled by hunger and cravings any more  ;D

I'm also loving having plenty of energy to work out and only getting thirsty.  Carbing up just seems like a ridiculous notion now.

Thanks Tarlach!

It's very confidence inspiring to be able to charge it and not feel governed by food.
Not having cravings is amazing. My girl made cakes the last 2 days and I had no desire to have a piece of either.
Carbing up seems like a waste of money.
