Ok, I'm not going to make excuses about not having time to eat properly.  I was rushed, but I had the opportunity to eat right and I chose pizza.  Not only did I feel guilty, I immediately regretted it.  Instant heartburn and then I felt sluggish for the rest of the day.  I've learned my lesson.

It's one of those times that I can't really confine my food intake into meals.  We went to pick up my son from University and spent 7 hours driving up, an hour and half driving to the hotel, spent the night, and then another 6 hours drive back in traffic.

Over the weekend, I ate...

Several handfuls of trailmix
two oranges
three bananas
12oz steak, rare
handful of carrots
an omelet made with three eggs, scallions, mushrooms and salsa
sashimi platter
several cups of chopped fruit including blackberries, blueberries and raspberries
About 6 shrimp

Note to self: Not only should you eat more seafood, you need to eat more meat

What do you put in your trail mix? 

Your meals sound really good.  I'm still trying to work on having leftovers.  In the past, we just prepared enough for one meal, using pasta or rice, or something like that to stretch it out.  Now...I need to prepare more meats and veggies at one time.  Still haven't made the change in cooking yet...
