Warren - I'm trying for the timing suggested by Shettles, tracking temps and all that fun stuff. I never did any of it for my first two but this will be my last and I want to shoot for that girl!
Eating, not so good - both boys are sick, DH is out of town on business until tomorrow night so my eating has been all over the place. Between doctors visits, crying children, baths 4x a day for one I'm just exhausted and done, I'm not cooking anything that takes more than 5 min! Tomorrow isn't going to be any less crazy unfortunately.

Wow it's been quite a while! I actually found out I was pregnant about two weeks after my last post - first month trying, a bit of a shocker for us. And...it's a girl so we're super excited - two boys and a girl, we're done! I'm currently 25 weeks pregnant and have gained ~13 pounds so far, more than I wanted at this stage but pretty in line with my previous pregnancies. I have definitely strayed from the Paleo quite a but and need to return to eating better. The constant heartburn has set in so I don't know how much of anything I'll be eating in the next couple weeks. Hope to get back to posting my menus soon, they won't be as strict as they were before but hopefully keep the total carbs around 100g, I'm not looking to lose (obviously) but want to have a healthy remainder of my pregnancy.

At 29 weeks I've officially hit the 22lbs gained mark..eek! I'm aiming for 100-150g carbs daily from here on out. I don't have gestational diabetes (didn't anticipate that I would) so that's a plus. It's hard not to fall for quick/easy foods when I'm so freaking tired by the end of the day. My husband had been working late for the past two+ weeks so it's just me and the kids for dinner every night. I was good and made roasted chicken tonight with organic broccoli tossed in organic butter. The kids had pineapple for dessert, I of course had none

I'm down over 2 pounds from yesterdays weight (whew!), I think a lot was water retention so let's say we're at a 20 lb gain currently. Did pretty good today, up until I had some dark chocolate smidgens
I'd only eaten ~45g carbs. Planning on either a grilled chicken salad for dinner or some roasted chicken w/ veg, we'll see.

Good day...
B: Two eggs fried in org butter
L: Huge organic spring mix salad w/ tom, bacon, hard boiled egg, sprinkle of goat cheese, balsamic & oil
S: Faye 2% with 1/2 Tbsp agave (16g carbs total)
D: Salad w/ tomato, balsamic & oil
Hot Italian Pork Sausage from WF (best we could do for a quick dinner)

Sundays meals:
B: 2 eggs fried in org butter
L: faye 2% with ~2/3 c. strawberries
D: leg of lamb, asparagus and tomato/ricotta/parm/basil risotto (my hubs made it special so I had a small portion)
S: Handful of nuts
Monday
B: 2 hard boiled eggs
L: faye2%, 1/2 Tbsp agave (8 g carb)
one too many chocolate smidgens, we'll blame it on the baby
D: plan on leftover lamb topped w/ carmelized onions & a sprinkling of goat cheese
spring mix salad w/ grape tom, cucumber, balsamic vin & oil
Weight is still staying steady so I'm happy with that! 184 today and really hoping to top out around 190 for the end of my pregnancy - ~10 weeks to go so it will be hard but not completely impossible.

Last two days haven't been the best, been fighting a lot of reflux and it's close cousin nausea so eating more carbs than usual. Had my 30 weeks appointment today and everything looks good, baby's head down, BP was 112/64, no gestational diabetes so about as good as it can be.
Got my new 6.5" cast iron skillet today - perfect size for two eggs fried in butter! Can't wait to test it out this weekend

Super tired lately, DH has been working crazy hours so i'm kind of getting sick of the single parent thing. Eating has been OK, most of the time good but I've definitely had my moments. Went out the the farm today and picked up fresh hot dogs, hot italian pork sausage, a huge flank steak and some ground beef. I would have bought more but it was already a 60 dollar purchase. Weekend plans are still up in the air, no idea what the in-laws are doing but my mom and brother are coming for the weekend so I'm looking forward to seeing them. The farm was smoking hams when I got there, very tempting to buy one, maybe I'll plan on one next year.

Been an absentee for a while...short story Darcy Kate was born on July 3rd (10 days late!) at a healthy 8lb 12oz. She was my 3rd and final unmedicated childbirth, extremely painful this time around and had a bunch of complications afterwards so recovery was a bit longer than my previous births. But...she's here and our family is complete barring any very large OOPS in the future. In the past 4 weeks or so I've been moving back to Paleo, I didn't want to disrupt my milk supply by abruptly changing my diet so I took it slow. I'm pretty much back with the exception of some dairy which I ate before anyways and plan to continue unless it starts to cause problems. Since officially transitioning back 4 weeks ago I've lost 9 lbs; faster than I'd prefer to lose but I'm not restricting food at all and eating to satiety so I'm not concerned. Probably a chunk was water weight from the transition away from grains again.
butter fried eggs w/ natural gluten free sausage
nuts
whole milk latte
pork loin w/ bacon & mushroom au jus
green beans
buttload of water
hot tea tonight

Got a late start this morning so no breakfast since I'm meeting my hubs for lunch soon. We're having guests up for dinner this weekend for my MIL and my husbands birthdays (he's 32!) so trying to figure out a menu. We made a pretty bangin' pulled pork last weekend that I'm tempted to do again..trying to keep the budget on the lower side since we're feeding 13 people. Weather is amazing here...feels like fall!
salad w/ dark meat chicken, pico & guac
chicken wings (the rest of the fam is ordering pizza)
latte (it's friday - planned cheat)
