I have been busy with snowboa... oh, I mean SCHOOl
But I have found the perfect food to take up! (since I am not a fan of cold meat and never ended up making pemmican)
I fill a metal water bottle with some heavy cream (a lot... like more than a cup) to drink several times during the day. I eat 2 cans of salmon for lunch. Easy to pack, and I don't have to worry about going overboard on the protein. Energy is sky high!
(sometimes I pack a muffin made with coconut flour, eggs, coconut oil, honey, stevia, and flavors (like lemon extract) to eat when other people are having hot chocolate or cookies in the lodge because I get jealous... why do they have to bake hot cookies right there in front of you!? They always smell so darn good.)
