Overall looks fine. A few details below.

...yoghurt...
Avoid

Quote
..."loose" pork sausage...
Check the ingredients. Sausages usually contain cornstarch, gluten, soy protein or other stuff.

Quote
orange juice, almond/coconut mix milk, beer
Orange juice is OK-ish, but usually recommended against, because you get a lot of sugar without a lot of the fiber and/or other balancing ingredientes. Almond milk is borderline. Avoid if you can. Beer is of course not paleo.

You guys are a harsh bunch, lol! No, but thank you for the feedback!

Yes, I'm trying to cut out the yoghurt and the beer, it will be tough! The orange juice is for the husband, he can't live without it... I didn't think that about the sausage. It didn't come with the ingredients list as it was fresh and the guy just grabbed a pound for me and put it in a bag. I probably won't shop at that place again (too expensive), but I will make sure to check the ingredients on future sausage.

Why is Almond milk bad? I didn't like it anyway, so I'll go back to using coconut milk, way yummier!

breakfast: coffee with coconut/almond milk

lunch: finished the tuna "salad" from yesterday and the beef curry from yesterday. Had several of the chocolate macaroons and two glasses of iced green tea.

snacked: little bit of seaweed, hazelnuts. and strawberries.

dinner: found out my grant proposal was rejected, so went out to celebrate/feel sorry for myself. Had a pork chop, sweet potato with butter, and 2 large margaritas (full of sugar)  :-[

Ate a lot yesterday, hopefully I'll remember everything:

Breakfast: coffee with coconut milk, smoothie with coconut milk, 2 raw egg yolks, kale, strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries.

early lunch: 10 chicken nuggets, water

late lunch: salad with eggs, bacon, lettuce, tomato, cucumber and two spare ribs covered in BBQ sauce

Snacks: hazelnuts, smoothie with coconut milk, strawberries and raspberries.

Dinner: 6oz steak, broccoli, 1 bottle of beer.

I think I need to stop drinking smoothies, as they are visibly making me much more hungry in the long run. I'm running out of frozen berries, so I just won't buy them anymore for a while.

Chicken nuggests? Ingredients?

Bbq sauce can be very high in sugar.

With regards to the smoothies, try adding  a raw egg. You seriously will not taste the egg, but it will stop you from getting hungry so soon. I know it sounds disgusting, but try it just once.

That said though, if weight loss is your goal, lowering your fruit intake (carbs) will help you get there faster.

Haha, yes I doubt cavemen had any access to chicken nuggets! It was definitely a cheat, as I was out of the house and was traveling with a friend and had to get food at a burger king.

I agree about the BBQ sauce, definitely sugary! I did try the egg yolks last morning, but I felt like I was wasting an egg, since I love runny eggs anyway and I couldn't taste it in the smoothie..

I feel like I do have to take your advice and cut back on the carbs. I want to first get a little more weight off and then start maintaining.

Breakfast: coffee with coconut milk, 2 fried eggs, fried kale and some friend plantains

Lunch: skipped

Dinner: casserole with sausage, broccoli, spinach, mushroom, and some cheese. Green tea. Some almonds with chocolate (dark). I also was bored and made a shot "daiquiri" from fresh strawberries, spiced rum, lime juice, and frozen raspberries.

I have been quite bad the last few days. I had a birthday, so I felt a little more lenient with my food (ate a burrito, drank very sugary alcoholic drinks, ate a ton of fruit with chocolate (my birthday present from parents), and made myself a birthday cake with no flour, but a ton of sugar).

So now, after feeling crappy the yesterday and this morning, I am ready to get back on track. I still have a ton of fruit/ berries in the fridge that I need to use up, but I was good about giving my cake away to a friend!

Breakfast: coffee with almond/ coconut milk, berry smoothie with coconut milk

Snacks/ lunch: one avacado, tea, water

Dinner: preparing fried fatty beef (in butter) with fried bacon pieces and slow cooked in coconut/ heavy cream sauce. I can't wait till it's done! So hungry!

Never feel bad about birthday indulgence food wise.

Thanks! It's funny how even though I don't feel guilty, my body is not too happy!

Not sure what will be on the menu today, but I need to finish up the fruit that are in my fridge. I think after this fruit binge, I won't be able to look at another fruit for weeks!

I surprised myself yesterday. We had friends come over and they brought chips, beer, bread and salsa, etc. Somehow I didn't have any cravings for any of these foods anymore. I even managed to feed them some of the fruit that it's in the fridge! I just drank green tea when they were here and it felt great! I think I no longer have the urge to eat everything that's in front of me, which is great.

I am reaching a plateau with weight loss, but I can imagine my birthday sugar intake and this constant flow of fruit isn't helping much...

Time for some public shaming:

I really shouldn't have indulged in the sugar as much as I did for the past few days, since I'm having difficulty getting back on track. These carbs are really addicting, aren't they!

Yesterday I ate a bunch of deli meats, cheese sticks, salsa from a can, beer, wine, chocolate (milk, not dark), a bunch of fruit. Although I did have a nice salad for lunch with eggs and turkey. I guess all of this isn't as bad as I used to eat, but I was doing so much better before! I also gained a kilo back :( I really want to get back on track and I think I need to get some grocery shopping done so I have readily available food instead of random things that I forage on...

Breakfast:
coffee with coconut milk

lunch:
Taco salad (lettuce, tomatoes, tons of chicken, onions, salsa, guacamole, sour cream, cheese) and an unsweet ice tea.

Dinner:
will probably go shopping and get some nice meat with vegetables in.

Sour cream is not so good, even as a "primal" dairy. Apart from dairy proteins, it's not fully fermented and has some sugar.

"Cheese" if it's processed cheese is not necessarily dairy only.

Salsa usually has bad veg oil in it.

Thank you for your thoughts! It definitely helps to hear criticisms of the foods!

I had another crappy day yesterday:
Morning: coffee with coconut milk/almond milk (need to use the carton up, wont buy anymore)
Lunch: smoothie with blueberries, strawberries, spinach, raspberries, coconut milk
Dinner: scavenging around the house- 1 bottle of beer, summer sausage (quite gross), chicken from a can with mayonnaise and pickled jalapeno peppers.

Ate very little and unhealthy yesterday :( Have put in grocery shopping on the agenda for today.

Did my shopping!

Drinks: orange juice (for husband), plain kefir

Meat: seafood medley (octopus, calamari, shrimp, mussels), frozen mussels, fresh tilapia steaks, beef steaks, boneless pork spare ribs, ground beef chuck (20% fat), ground turkey, bacon (no sugar added), frozen chicken tenderloins, eggs

Vegetables: cauliflower, broccoli, avocado, mushroom, cucumber, collard greens, radishes

Miscellaneous: coconut milk, grass-fed butter

No nuts, no cheese, and no fruit! Also, my little pet carnivore under the table is hoping all that meat is for her!

I decided to really buy the meat as we seem to run out within a few days of shopping typically. This way, I will have no excuses for not eating properly.

Anyone have any cooking suggestions for these ingredients? I'm thinking of frying the tilapia with some collard greens and mushrooms for dinner.

yes.. so expensive though!

dinner yesterday: 2 tilapia filets, mushrooms, and collard greens, cucumber

breakfast: eggs, bacon. Coffee with almond/ coconut milk

lunch: barely seared steak, collard greens

snacks: cucumber, coconut milk "ice cream" with a few raspberries (I poured a little coconut milk over the berries and put it in the freezer for 15 min)

dinner: I have broccoli and ribs in the slow cooker for later.
