up at 645am (hooray for weekends!) - meds and water

730am - 2 cups of glorious coffee.  First cup with 2 tbsp coffee mate french vanilla.  Which was disgustingly sweet (this is how I usually drank it!!) and so split coffee into two and topped up with coffee in each.  Will try less creamer tomorrow.  This is my "treat" I look forward to all week!!  And a super great intestinal cleanerouter (tmi but true!)

10am - 4 pieces bison pepperoni (not my fave and now it's gone so I'm glad)
           2 hard boiled eggs

1230pm - 1 diet pepsi

2pm - 4 oz cold roast beef
          1/2 apple
          1/2 mandarin orange
          4 almonds

630 pm - 1/2 rack ribs
              1 cup broccoli
              2 asparagus spears

730pm - 3 more ribs
              1 avocado
             2 strawberries

had a weird day as we went up to visit the outlaws and they are completely not paleo friendly  BUT they did have cold roast in the fridge and so that was super great.  As I am typing this my belly is still growling and now that I've written my food I realize because I had NO fat today except what was in the food (which wasn't much).  of course the addict in me would love nothing more than to make a HUGE cup of hot cocoa and have some cookies to go with BUT the warrior in me wants to have a rocking body like my avatar (as well as the vball skills but I'll start with the body).  so......I'll have to settle for more ribs :-)  and maybe an avocado

          1 cup lady grey tea with 1 tsp honey

430pm - 2 hard boiled eggs

"open meal" - tried to keep it half decent
7pm - 1 small diet pepsi
          124 g almond M&M's

9pm - 6 oz roast beef
          1/2 cup gravy
          2 yorkshire puddings

have a phlegmy throat started at 9:50 ...presumably from the yorkshires.  Not surprised just noting

I'm on synthroid for my hashimoto's disease and cimetadine to treat my chronic hives.

yes a good ol diet pepsi. 

Might be an idea to get your thyroid levels retested once you have been on Paleo for a while.

I'm getting them tested in 2 weeks...but for me my levels were all ok...but my thyroid antibodies were off the charts.  So as long as they exist my thryoid won't respond to the hormones I make. 

I see my endo regularly so I'll maybe get him to retest in another 3 months and my vit D too as I am curious

6 coconut macaroons (egg whites, honey, coconut) - argh

Supper
1 piece cod
4 pieces asparagus

Snack
2 slices celery
1 tbsp sunbutter
4 oz pork
2 slices beef jerky

I am starved and it's 945pm!  I don't know what the heck....ah but maybe the macaroons?  Rebound hunger?  Anyways....mildly headachey today....terrible BM (first thing in the morning and after work).  I'm disappointed because can't get to gym yesterday or today....contemplating that 100 push up challenge as I can do that while kids are home sick.

         5 prunes - having BM issues

was craving something spicy hence the added hot sauce.  My weight is doing nothing this week.  Kinda frustrating!  Any ideas?

thanks!  actually So Delicious makes a coffee creamer from coconut milk that I'm gonna check out this weekend.  Ideally I'd like to have it black...so I'm baby stepping my way down.  I only drink it on Sat/Sun in the mornings.

Weight = 252 lbs (????maybe?)

up at 520 am.

830am = 1.5 pieces cod
              1/2 avocado
              1/2 banana
              1 clementine
              green and ginger tea with 1 tbsp honey (this was seriously awesome tea!)

1115am = 3 oz pork chop sliced and stirfried with 10 mushrooms and 1/2 onion with garlic
                1/2 avocado
                10 baby carrots
                2 celery sticks
                1 tbsp sun butter.

3pm = 5 oz roast beef
           2 slices beef jerky
          10 almonds
...seriously hungry at this time of day....

530 pm = 2 eggs fried in lard
               2 green onions
               ginger snappish tea (no caffeine) with coconut milk and 1 tsp sugar.
               5 coconut macaroons by jennie's (dammit!!  but they are only coconut, egg white and honey...but dammit!)

8pm - meds and water (trying to change to evening dosage as I am too hungry in mornings to go without food before work which means I have to have not eaten for 3 hours before taking meds)

extremely loose bm's this morning and at 3pm...upset tummy this evening.  Both kids have same thing = some kind of bug

weighed myself about an hour after breakfast.  Weight = 251 (??? really maybe?!)

1030 am Snack = 4 pieces (40 g) beef jerky
                           1 apple

1140 am Lunch = 1 bison smokie
                           2 tsp mustard
                           2 celery stalks
                           10 baby carrots
                           2 tbsp sun butter
                           tea with 1 tsp sugar (out of honey!!)

1:50pm Snack = 2 bison smokies (frick these are good!)
                         1/2 cup Bengali Coconut Curry Sauce by Happy Planet (ummmm OMG!!  YUM!)
                         1 cup tea w/ 0.5 tsp of honey (getting there!!)
                         1 tbsp of daughter's So Delicious Coconut Ice cream bar (she was full and well...can't go to waste!)

5:30 pm Supper = 295 g paleo meatloaf
                            1 large glass of red wine

weighed after BM (back to normal!) and after eating breakfast = 250!! (seriously am I on to something here...please oh please oh please)

100pm lunch = 2.5 bison burger patties
                      3 slices tomato
                       1 slice onion
                       1/2 cup lettuce
                        1 slice onion
                        1 tbsp mustard

4pm snack = 2 slices bacon
                    1 meatball sample (about 1 oz ground beef)

600 pm supper = 150 grams of short rib meat (which is St. Louis cut I've learned) pork
                           5 strawberries
                           2 slices celery
                           2 large glasses wine (whoooooeeeeee!  I'm blitzed!!!!)

Day 2 of horrendous cold...it's even more horrendous today.  Up all night in ER with daughter with croup.  Weight = 250 lbs ? scale batteries died before it settled.  Also weighed my self mid day after breakfast and lunch

My totals aren't great today.  Too much protein and not enough fat.  Carbs are way low too.  I'm just feeling like garbage from this cold!  Ate dinner later than I would like.  I like to have it done by 6pm so that I can take my meds in the evening now (3 hours post eating).  Just wasn't hungry before then.
