                                       CALORIES       CARBS        FAT       PROTEIN
             Totals:                  2,152              81              145             135
Your Daily Goal:       2,423 - 2,423     135 - 135    143 - 143    150 - 150

Felt better about my totals today.  Fat was all the way there and protein was pretty good.  My carbs are low.  You might have something Marika, LisaLynn with lower carbs.  I had low carbs yesterday too and I feel fine!  Even resisted rice at supper without hesitation and doughnuts!

If you don't mind sharing, what cooking methods do you use for sirloin? I usually find it too lean unless in casseroles with added fat (tallow or butter in bind).

I chop it all up and put it in a crock pot with lard, water, and no salt beef seasoning.  Stew it for a couple hours and it's good!

Thanks. I see our methods are similar, then. I though you had found a "secret way to fry sirloin for 5 minutes and make it yummy". (Assumption on my side given it's breakfast).

ah yes good I could see that.  I usually make a stew once a week and then eat that all week for breakfast.

Thought I was on the mend yesterday but this morning I woke up feeling terrible again.  Ugh...not hungry at all.  Had a glass of water (due to the fact my throat was completely stuck together and dried there).

Up at 6am Weight = 248 lbs (yeehaw!!)

645 am = 1 cup coffee
               1 tbsp coconut oil
2 tsp granulated sugar (out of creamer AND it's Folger's so there's no hope of going black ;-))

Breakfast 9am:

Beef, top sirloin, 280 grams
Lard, 2 tbsp

Lunch 2pm:

Salmon - Royal Greenland Wild Salmon, 5.75 oz
broccolini, 3 oz
Lard, 0.5 tbsp
Canola Oil, 1 1tsp
Tea, brewed, 6 fl oz
Honey, 1 tbsp
Organic Unrefined Virgin Coconut Oil
St. Louis Style Ribs, 4 oz

Dinner 6pm:

bison steak, 4 oz
Apples, fresh, 1 medium (2-3/4in. dia) (approx 3 per lb)
Bacon Lard, 1 tbsp

Meds and water.

                        CALORIES     CARBS     FAT     PROTEIN
Totals:                   2,066    62            131    156
Your Daily Goal:    2,423    135            143    150

Good day today!  levels all good....protein slightly high but not bad.  Tried apples fried in bacon fat due to Wlfdg's Facebook status making me drool.  OMG!  That is like food porn for paleo people.  I've never seen my hubby so eager to make supper!

up at 630am; Cold is getting better today; Perfect BM; Day 4 of cycle.

730am
Regular Coffee, 12 fl oz
Coconut Oil, 2 tbsp
Dairyland Creama French Vanilla, 4 tbsp

Breakfast 10am:

Born 3 Eggs Omega - 3 (1 Large Egg), 2 serving
Apples, fresh, 1 large (3-1/4in. dia) (approx 2 per lb)
Lard, 1 tbsp

Weighed myself (lazy Sunday showered late) and was 250 lbs.  ?Salt from last 2 suppers? Bloated from cycle?  Ate already plus whack of coffee?

Snack 330pm

Amy's Organic Low Sodium Butternut Squash Soup, 1/2 can, 1 serving
Almonds, 20 almond
Hazelnuts, 10 nuts

Supper 415pm:

Chicken Thighs Fresh Boneless Skinless, 6.6 oz
Avocados, California (Haas), 1 fruit without skin and seeds
Apples, fresh, 100 grams
Celery, raw, 1 stalk, medium (7-1/2in. - 8in. long)
Herbal Tea, 1 cup (8 fl oz)
Honey, 0.33 tbsp

                         CALORIES  CARBS     FAT     PROTEIN
Totals:                    1,697    125    116    62
Your Daily Goal:    2,423    135    143    150

Totals are a little whacky today.  Didn't exceed anything but I am worried about the ratio of protein to carbs.  Was a particularly high carb day in retrospect given the apples AND coffee creamer.  Gotta give that crap up!

I know it's not paleo, but you could replace the artificial creamer with actual milk, or  cream. I heard good things about coconut milk as well.

;D...You don't sound too happy about it...

Even actual dairy cream is better than creamer, if you can manage dairy. It's mostly fat instead of carbs and less unnatural than artifical creamers.

The ingredients in artificial creamers can include:
Partially Hydrogenated Soybean/Cottonseed Oil; Palm Oil.
Sugar; Corn Syrup; Sodium Stearyl Lactylate.
and other stuff.

it's the one thing I have left from my former life.  I have it only on Saturday and Sundays and it's the whole purpose of my Friday night to prepare for that glorious cuppa :-)

Dairy normally is terrible for me to digest.  BUT full fat cream for whatever reason is fine.  I'll try maybe a combo of coconut milk and cream at first or something

I read an article on lactose intolerance that explained that there is a higher percentage of lactose in skim milk because of the dairy filler they add to it to thicken it up. Cream and whole milk have a significantly less amount and butter has next to no lactose. I have bad issues with dairy but can tolerate butter and cream on occasion.

It's also pretty easy to clarify butter and remove all the milk solids.

Yeah, I normally buy and use Ghee when I can afford it
