up at 6am weight = 250 lbs (huh?  up 2 lbs in 2 days?  cycle, salt, WTF?!); No BM this morning again; Day 5 of cycle.

Breakfast 715am:

Beef chuck, 113 grams
Tea, brewed, 6 fl oz
Honey, 1 tbsp
Half and Half Cream, 1 tbsp

Lunch 1130pm:

Avocados, California (Haas), 1 fruit without skin and seeds
Earthbound Farm - Mixed Baby Greens (Organic), 3 oz
Boetje's stone ground mustard, 1 tsp
Vinegar, Cider, low carb 1 cup, 0.1 cup
Canola Oil, 1 tbsp
Chicken Thighs Fresh Boneless Skinless, 6.5 oz
Thai Kitchen Coconut Milk - 60ml, 4 serving
butternut squash soup imagine organic, 1 cup
Celery, raw, 1 stalk, medium (7-1/2in. - 8in. long)

Supper 5:30pm

Cod (fish), 2 fillet
broccolini, 3 oz
Butter, salted, 0.5 tbsp
Lard, 1 tbsp
Tea, brewed, 6 fl oz
Coconut Oil, 1 tbsp
Thai Kitchen Coconut Milk - 60ml, 0.5 serving
Honey, 0.33 tbsp
dried beef, 3 serving

                          CALORIES     CARBS     FAT     PROTEIN
Totals:                    2,384    88            150    127
Your Daily Goal:    2,423    135             143     150

Totals are good again today.  Saturday night and Sunday night I ate dinner and/or a snack quite late in the evening.  So I am wondering if that's caused my weight gain due to interrupting the Leptin receptors or something?  dunno only my halfbaked theory.  I'm have weird pains in the middle of my back (on the side of my spine..not my spine) that I used to get when I was eating wheat and/or not digesting something well.  I am wondering if it's due to lack of BM, something I did eat, OR the chicken since I haven't had chicken in a long time as it tends to make me nauseous.  I dunno....suggestions?

I'm so getting the flack at work for eating high saturated fat.  I mean we do tests for coronary artery disease and so everyone thinks they know better.  I keep showing them the articles and studies but they still think I am going to die.  I'm ready to tell them to f##@(@k off and carry on but ya know...I'd just like to eat in peace!

My advice would be to get rid of the dairy, creamers and honey.

Also read the ingredients on anything packaged very carefully.

all righty.  Yes was thinking about my tea with honey today and realizing how dependent I become on that sweet hit.

Only packaged things I ate today were soup (mostly veg in that with maybe rice flour somewhere near the bottom), and mustard which is mustard seeds, water, olive oil, and lemon juice.  The coconut milk is pure full fat coconut mmmm.

I'll crack on then!

up at 7am:  Weight = 249lbs  (well down 1 from the weird up...but still!)

Breakfast 730am:

Beef chuck, 113 grams
Asian Pears, 400 grams
Tea, brewed, 12 fl oz
Coconut Oil, 1 tbsp
Honey, 1 tbsp

Lunch 12pm:

Fried Egg, 2 large
Bacon, 4 medium slices, cooked (raw product packed 20/lb)
Red Ripe Tomatoes, 4 slice, medium (1/4in. thick)
Regular Coffee, 6 fl oz
Half and Half Cream, 1 container, individual (.5 fl oz)

2nd Lunch 3pm:

Avocados, California (Haas), 1 fruit without skin and seeds
Earthbound Farm - Mixed Baby Greens (Organic), 3 oz
Boetje's stone ground mustard, 1 tsp
Vinegar, Cider, low carb 1 cup, 0.1 cup
Canola Oil, 1 tbsp
Cod (fish), 2 fillet
broccolini, 3 oz
Thai Kitchen Coconut Milk - 60ml, 2 serving
butternut squash soup imagine organic, 0.3 cup
Curry powder, 1 tbsp

When I got home at 430pm.....I had a severe attack of diarrhea.  IT was horrible.  Like complete liquid very suddenly.  I haven't eaten anything that I haven't eaten before.  My only suspect is the Curry.  Could someone have a sensitivity to curry powder?  Anyways right after this episode I was immediately starving hungry which I found strange!

Supper 6pm:

Pork Chops (pork loin), roasted, 4 oz
Cauliflower, cooked, 1 cup (1in. pieces)
Applesauce, unsweetened, 0.25 cup

                          CALORIES     CARBS     FAT     PROTEIN
Totals:                    2,299    121            127    119
Your Daily Goal:    2,423    135            143     150

Totals are good for today.  Though after supper I am still feeling hungry.  I'm gonna leave it though as I am thinking it's my system freaking out after the potty session today.  weird!  Also have frog stuck in my throat after supper....

Curry can do that, it's true.

Or the pears - they would do that to me, because they are high in fructose. Or the avocado, they do that to me too. Or the coconut milk, too, totally does that to me...wow, your day would've done a number on me!!

You need to do something about the Canola oil, too. Ideally get or make lard or tallow, but if that's not possible try and replace it with something "less worse" (butter?).

I agree. You can find grassfed butter at the grocery store - most stores have Kerrygold which is from Ireland and is grassfed.

i've eaten the pears last week and the week before with no troubles.  Coconut milk I haven't had in a few weeks...avocado I eat every day with not troubles.

The canola oil, cider vinegar, and mustard are my salad dressing...so lard won't work well in that since it's solid.  I suppose I could ditch the oil all together.

The only thing that's different is the curry powder.

Salad dressing? extra virgin olive oil! You can't cook with it as it doesn't stand heat very well, but for salads it works great. Disclaimer: still non paleo.

yes I could melt the lard first and then add the rest of it to the salad.  evoo is good too...we just happen to have canola in the cupboard from our former life

Up at 7am Weight = 248lbs (diarrhea or not it went back!)

Breakfast 745am:

Born 3 Eggs Omega - 3 (1 Large Egg), 2 serving
Beef chuck, 113 grams
Lard, 0.5 tbsp
Tea, brewed, 12 fl oz
Honey, 0.66 tbsp
Coconut Oil, 1 tbsp

Lunch 1215pm:

Ground beef, lean, 226 grams
Earthbound Farm - Mixed Baby Greens (Organic), 3 oz
Boetje's stone ground mustard, 1 tsp
Canola Oil, 1 tbsp
Vinegar, Cider, low carb 1 cup, 0.1 cup
Oranges, 1 small (2-3/8in. dia)
Avocados, California (Haas), 1 fruit without skin and seeds

Snack 445pm:

homemade beef jerky, 40 gram(s)

Supper 515pm:

Ground beef, lean, 226 grams
Cauliflower, steamed, plain, 2 cup
Herbal Tea, 1 cup (8 fl oz)
Honey, 0.33 tbsp
Coconut Oil, 1 1tsp

                          CALORIES     CARBS     FAT     PROTEIN
             Totals:            2,365    60            182    131
Your Daily Goal:    2,423    50 - 100    143    150

Totals were good today.  My tummy, while I had no episodes like yesterday, still felt unsettled.  Just healing I guess.  No BM today.  Didn't stop me from being hungry!  My skin is all broke out again and healing up....broke out the end of last week after my cold started.  I was using whatever I could find to grease my nose as the skin was all cracked from blowing and sneezing.....I think some of the commercial moisturizers and chapsticks irritated it.  I've been washing my face with honey this week (since Sunday night).  While it's not improving it's not making it worse either.  I am going to try baking soda and apple cider vinegar for my hair washing next (see if I can get rid of the ezcema in my ears).  anyways...heigh ho

I've often wondered if a scale that only went in blocks of 5 or 10kg (11 - 22 punds) would be better. You can lose or gain 1-2kg by going to the bathroom or drinking a big bottle of water.
