I know!  It's crazy.  I usually weigh nack-ed before I shower and hopefully after my daily BM.  But those seem to be all over the place as far as timing now.  Used to be first thing in the morning.

Not a great day today.  Too many carbs for my taste!  Hubby made disgusting chicken for supper so I grabbed a hemp shake instead.  Used the rest of my homemade coconut creamer with it which is too high in carbs so I am glad it's gone now.  I'm breaking out in hives now right after supper.  I just checked my coconut milk can and it has guar gum in it.  Which is a no no on the salicylates list.  Either that or it was the tiny bit of chicken I had.  My tummy is on the verge of a diarrhea explosion (too bad since I had such a great BM this morning!).  I'm wondering if you guys were right about coconut milk after all.  Which makes me sad!

Good day today.  I indeed had tummy troubles after I posted yesterday.  whew!  But tummy feels good today.  I had a tough time a dinner as the rest of the family had ravioli which I ADORE!!  But...I am proud to stay I resisted.  Cookies likely aren't the best choice so late in the day but they were decently paleo friendly (contain egg whites, coconut, and honey).  Still in my totals!

Now BEFORE I hear it from the peanut gallery!  I made the conscious choice today to have a snack at the movies.  I think for the movies it's not the worst I could have had so  :P  We saw Edge of Darkness and it was good!

hmmm...don't really understand how it can be 7pm and I've only eaten 1000 calories?  I'm a bit hungry now...but don't want to eat before bed.  weird!  I started taking antihistamines everyday and I forgot how hungry they make you too!  I don't know why but they increase appetite.  strange as well.  Don't understand the 2lb weight gain in 2 days either.  whatever....

Appetite comes and goes. I find myself anywhere between 1,000 and 2,500 cals / day with an average of 1,800 in the long run. If you are hungry, though, I recommend you eat or snack on paleo foods. You don't want to yo-yo diet, right?

yah...my instinct is to have something to eat....but wouldn't that go against the intermittent fasting everyone is jazzed about.  I dunno...I think I'm frustrated that I keep getting stuck at 247 and I bounce around there for a bit....then nothing happens.  <sigh>  keep on trucking...

If you are going for spontaneous IF that's fine. If you are just following some rule of thumb of not eating after certain time, then it's probably not. IF should be "intermittent" not regular. A useful link:

Totals aren't bad today.  Carbs are highish for what I am trying to accomplish.  My lower tum feels tight and so I am hoping that is my system trying to get regular.  BM's are still not what I would consider healthy.  I haven't been getting enough sleep the last 3 nights...going to bed too late and I have to wake up on the early side this week.  Could that be causing my weight gain?  I'm a little disappointed that nothing is coming off.  Others are complaining of too rapid weight loss and here I am stuck.  I spend my days feeling guilty about not exercising more...ugh!  But I am more aware and so today I sprinted up 10 hospital flights of stairs in my lead apron (20lbs) with a injection tray in my hand to go inject a patient.  Had my heart rate up pretty good.  I am looking forward to trying a spinning class tomorrow night (hopefully I don't bust my tailbone again  :( )  Oh!  But did anyone notice the lack of honey and/or sweeteners?  I haven't had tea or coffee with sweetener for two days!  And I like it!  Yay me!

That's fairly unlikely.  Getting insufficient sleep is bad, but from a weight standpoint, it would be more likely to cause weight loss than weight gain.

No offense, but your caloric goal seems fairly high if you are trying to lose weight.  Most of the ladies who are at their goal weights are closer to 1500 kcal per day than to 2500.

Are you having four meals a day because you are hungry, or out of habit?  You might drop the caloric goal, and try to make sure you're eating only when actually hungry.

I'm eating when I am hungry.  For example my snack today of celery and almond butter....I wouldn't have had it but supper was 2 hours away at least and my stomach was howling.  So I had that.  Various times I will end up eating not at a prescribed meal time because I wasn't hungry then.  I am doing better now...only eating when I am hungry. 

My caloric goals...you're not offensive  ;D  Wlfdg helped me figure out what I should be eating given my height, weight and age.  I understand that by eating a higher calorie level....this will fire up my metabolism.  Then with my added training as of last week....this will be adjusted.  It seems like high calories....but I am 250lbs and mildly active.  I'm gonna need something to lug myself around.  I've done the calorie deficit thing....for 6 months I ate nothing but 1500-1800 calories a day and was insanely active...and I gained weight and didn't lose at all.  SO I know that isn't the way to go.
