Tahnski's Food Diary
« on: October 07, 2014, 07:31:47 PM »
Here we go!

I would love constructive feedback as I am new. I've been trying most of my recipes out of various Paleo cookbooks!

Brekkie: Paleo Pancakes: One banana, 20 blueberries, egg whites and almond butter - cooked with Coconut Oil
Lunch: Pork steak with parsnip fries cooked with olive oil
Supper: Vanilla Maple Glazed Pork chops with garlic roasted broccoli and asparagus, with a bit of mashed sweet potato and ghee

I would just note that sweet potatoes and other tubers are not really paleo; they just happen to be a starchy agricultural crop that was domesticated in the tropics, instead of a starchy agricultural crop domesticated in the temperate zones like grains are.

Otherwise it looks fairly reasonable.

Thanks! Haha. I knew that too, but I had such a craving for potatoes and I haven't found a substitute for a recipe yet, so I opted for sweet potatoes. I thought it would be a little better than straight up potatoes.
