Long story short, I got into paleo years ago when I was an endurance runner and competed in BJJ. It worked great for me and I loved it. Mainly followed stuff from Robb Wolf's book.
Later I had a bad car accident which left me pretty sedentary, I put on 60 lbs, got diagnosed with low T, blah, blah, blah.
So I'm back in the gym doing a beginners version of Westside three times a week and some hiking or spin class two days a week.
My wife and I are hopping back on a modified paleo starting Monday (we are easing into this week), but I'm keeping my protein drinks as they have always delivered results (switching from cow to almond milk) and I'm keeping garbanzo beans.
Any advice or issues with my plan? Any big developments in paleo research the last 5 years or so?
