Greetings from Rix
« on: January 12, 2007, 01:19:39 PM »
I'm so happy to have stumbled on this forum.

I'm a 33 year-old new father who is wanting to get back into Paleo after being off the wagon for some time.  My wife and I tried a few years back, and it went well for me (not so much for her).  But I'm hoping to turn a new leaf (or re-turn an old one?) and get back into Paleo.

I'm a big fan of wild edible plants as well.  We used to live in NYC, and I had a great time going on foraging tours with Wildman Steve Brill.  I was able to learn to identify some new plants as well as figure out where some of my old favorites were growing in the NY city parks.

Now my wife, son & I are back in Arkansas--which is where I grew up.  I was excited to get back here and start foraging again.  Now, with spring coming on soon, I'm eager for the foraging the new year will bring and how I can incorporate it into a Paleo diet.

That's a lot of rambling.

Anyway, I'm excited that this forum is here as a way to connect with other Paleo eaters.
