Hello everyone!
Just thought I would post a little message to introduce myself. I'm Hallion (not my real name of course) and i've decided to go full Paleo after reading Dr Cordains book and being very impressed. I've done a lot of research and it all seems to be good stuff so why not adopt the Paleo way of life?
I've always wanted the beach body look and after a couple of years of poor training and poor diet (and shed loads of Men Health magazines) i'm exactly where i've started. However I have come to realise that with the Paleo way of life and some good training i'll get where I want to go

im not so fussed on obtaining 'the body' anymore as there is more to life

I've been doing Paleo for a few months now and its great, the kind of meals you can create is amazing and I hardly miss wheat foods at all. Im a big fan of Pizza and I have the odd one now and again (very rare) and I just feel so much better.
However I have a problem - being a soldier Paleo isnt very practical. What I mean by this is that the meals they serve are all Carb based (due to thinking that all us soldiers need lots of carbs for training). It can be a bit of a nightmare and I dont think they recognise the Paleo lifestyle as a diet choice so probably won't be willing to cater for it. All their meat is heavily fried, coated in sauces and is usually the fatty ends of meat.
Nightmare!
However I haven't joined to moan, I've joined to participate in this amazing community and share my journey through my new life as a...
what do we call ourselves? Paleo-tarians? Cavemen? Hunter & Gatherers?
Anyway hello everyone and thanks for the forum!
