I am 33 years old, married and a mom two wonderful girls with a multitude of severe food allergies. I also am diagnosed with celiac disease and have PCOS.

I have followed a paleo lifestyle  in the past but due to some medical issues both mine and our kids I completely lost sight, gained a ton of weight and honestly just feel like garbage.

So I made the decision that next time I go to the grocery store  I am going back to the paleo lifestyle I have to recommit. Its a bit more...interesting and difficult for us because our daughters are both airborne anaphylactic allergic to many foods. Our house is egg free, peanut free, treenut free, sunflower free, poultry free and gluten free. I myself also have an anaphylactic allergy to avocados and need to avoid all dairy. At least some of that wont matter for at all for the paleo lifestyle, the rest we will find our ways around.

Im ready to jump back in, the only time in my life i felt healthy was when I was following the paleo lifestyle. I was off my medication, had energy and wasnt sick. Its time.

Very nice.  Sounds like you're fed up.  I completely understand

To keep it easy, stick to the outside of the grocery store.  They all have different layouts, but usually the fruit/vegetables are on one and and the refridgerated items and meat on the outskirts of the other end.

Good luck - please stick around and ask questions
