I have been on the Paleo diet for about a month now and I am loving it!  I came across it more or less by accident as I was looking for a new exercise plan.  Following some links led me to an e-book by a guy named Tamir B. Katz.  It was a great introduction to the caveman diet scene and I highly recommend it. (It also has a very helpful section on exercises.)

I orginally started this diet to lose weight, which I am - slowly, but I intend to stay on it for good now, because I feel so much better.  I am very glad to find this forum because everyone in my family thinks I am insane!  ;D  I'll be checking up on new food ideas and hopefuly contributing a few things of my own.

Hi Suze!  If you really want to speed up the weight loss, try cutting back on fruits and any other carby food you're eating.

The family thinking you're insane is unfortunately all too common!  Mine still makes fun of me...whenever we eat together they always say "Hey Elizabeth, could you get that food with a sharp stick? Huh? Go out and stab some wild broccoli!"   ::)
