Hey,

New to this forum. Have been reading all the newbie stories, as I am new to Paleo myself.
I haven't gone 100% yet, but I'm getting closer.
I'm not very overweight, I just have a general soft layer covering my body which I would like to get rid off  ;)
Been eating more or less Paleo on and off for a few weeks and can see the results, so now my goal is to goo 100% for at least 1 month, and see if it's worth it. But I'm guessing I will fall back to a 80-20 approach once I lose the fat (or perhaps I'll be so impressed  by the results, that I'll keep going).

I'm a big meat and fat eater and have no problem following the diet. The main problem is money to buy everything grass fed, as I am a student  :/

Anyway, just thought at little introduction was in order.

Welcome.  Definitely try it for 30 days.  If you like meat and fat, you shouldn't find it difficult.

Note that dropping back after 30 days will also mean dropping back on the benefits - on paleo, the 80/20 rule generally means you have to make 80% of the effort to get 20% of the benefit.  Time enough to worry about that after the 30 days, though.

If you can't afford everything grass finished, go ahead and include some commercial meat.  Most people still consider that paleo, if not ultra strict.
