Young Learner
« on: July 13, 2010, 07:05:10 PM »
Hello everybody.  My name is Andy, I am a 17 year old student and I'm pretty new to all this.  I have a few months of experience in barefoot living and have been eating healthily by contemporary standards but have only very recently decided to make an attempt at going paleo.  In fact, my very first trip to the farmers market to try to find some grass-fed steaks will be this saturday =]

Wish I'd known about Paleo at 17, you're getting a great head start.

Good luck, don't hesitate if you have questions.
The answer to your question is 'eat more fat'.

Stop counting calories. If you are eating Paleo, there is usually no need.

If you are having weight loss issues, it'd be a good idea to start posting a detailed food journal, then everyone can help.

'Anecdotal Evidence' is an oxymoron.

Hi Andy

I lived on fries and chocolate, cider and soda when I was your age. Well done:)

I love my computer, all my friends live in it.

Welcome, Andy!

I'm 17 years old, too. I'm sure you will enjoy this lifestyle as you will see an increase and energy and overall health soon. I've been paleo for 8 months now, and I don't regret it the least bit.

Welcome to the cave, Andy!

I'm 19 myself and, like Woodspirit has said, I'm sure you'll enjoy the health you'll get from eating the food were designed for :)
