I need an ignore list
« on: March 06, 2011, 01:52:44 PM »
Every day there's a new troll writing something useless and refusing to listen. I need an ignore functionaliy. I don't believe in negative karma, I'll still end up reading their stuff if I forget screen names.

I need an ignore button so I don't have to read their sh!t again.

Edit: found it. It's in profile. Not quite as handy as having a button by every screen name, but should work.

I know there are Greasemonkey scripts that work with some web boards to provide a killfile (i.e. ignore feature). I have Mondo Pita installed for phpBB boards, but I haven't seen any for SMF boards and lack the know-how to make one myself.

I just looked at the ignore list and buddy list areaq.  I am fully aware of why to use the ignore list but how does the buddy list work?  Anyone know?

You called me a troll on day 1 and have since "ignored" me, not that I reached out after that... There are people who will get it and people who won't. And then there are those who need some time to transition.

The hypocrisy on this board is real though. I've seen certain members dismiss their cheats as not a big deal, even something to make light of, then they whine about others who cheat. These members tend to be established on here, so I guess their cheats are ok to brag about.

Come on, cocoa>milk? Almonds are bad? I don't care what other people do, and I ignore most everyone on here who is a newbie. They irritate me too, but it's not that hard to ignore someone on a message board. I took the time to read about paleo before signing on,  This is a huge, life alte There is a difference between transitioning and dismissing cheats as not a big deal. I have a list of "foods" that I know aren't going to be a big deal in the end, and so do many other members...

Come on, cocoa>milk?
Pure cocoa powder without sugar, used in a drink, has very few calories - much less than milk.  So yes, it's not as bad for you.  I don't think the regulars are talking about the cocoa which comes in a ready mix package, which not only has sugar in it but also actually has milk, and so is not better than milk.

You're absolutely right about the transitioning, which is why I try to be supportive of newbies who are willing to learn and improve.  Different people have different tolerances before giving up, though.  When people start to argue instead of listening is my limit.

You are not in my ignore list.

Why would you have an ignore list on a site like this. New people just want to learn. I know others have cheats but thats their business, if they don't want to get the full benefits from this WOE then leave them at it, they are the ones who will suffer.
