Blood type
« on: December 14, 2009, 02:56:22 PM »
Hi!

Just curious how many of us that are feeling fantastic on Paleo are the same blood type?  I am type O and have read snippets of D'Adamo's book realilzing that I am Paleo to the core.

Anyone else?

I don't know my blood type.  Are you O+ or O-? Does D'Adamo say there is a difference as to the diet?

The nutritional blood typing diet is crud. If you actually knew how blood type was inherited you would know this (I just took a class on it).
That being said I am probably type B positive becasue both my parents are... but I also could be O. I've never been tested.

The answer to your question is 'eat more fat'.

Stop counting calories. If you are eating Paleo, there is usually no need.

If you are having weight loss issues, it'd be a good idea to start posting a detailed food journal, then everyone can help.

'Anecdotal Evidence' is an oxymoron.

hi!

yes I understand how blood types are inherited.  In my family and my hubby's family...even though there have been marriages abundant...we are all type O or A.  I find it so crazy coincidental this is the case...but I do understand these are the most common blood types...except that the majority of our family are O- and A- which have a very tiny percentage of the population in canada.

it's certainly far from fact...but I just found it an interesting read.

According to the blood type diet I should eat grains and drink milk. But I do infinitely better on paleo.

Strangely though, I do love milk.
