Dreams

So last night was the second time I've had this dream....I dreamed I was eating a huge bowl of cereal.  In this dream I poured some rice krispies and finished the box into the bowl (regular cereal bowl) and then topped it up with some kind of flake cereal.  I even could taste how sweet the cereal was in my dream.  In my dream I was so disappointed in myself and felt guilty for eating that crap.

I woke up temporarily and was panicked that I had eaten the cereal before bed....then calmed down realizing it was just a dream and I didn't really eat it.  Whew!

Anyone else vividly dreaming of bad food?

Sounded like a nightmare.  ;)

I can recall having such dreams--not recently, not yet. I think it's like mentally exorcising a fear.

When I was in school (1st grade through college), every time we were due to go on a field trip I would always have a dream that I was running late, or forgot, or something and thus missed the field trip. I did actually miss a field trip once when I was in first grade. My mother took me where we were going but I never caught up with my class. Traumatic event, perhaps?
Change requires you to scream, I'M NOT GONNA TAKE ANY MORE!...and then you don't.

I've actually had a very similar dream a while ago. I don't remember it really well but I do remember that in my dream I felt like I was forced to eat cereal (I think chex) with skim milk - and it was not enjoyable at all. I rarely have nightmeres but it was as close as I've come to one in a long while. I remember at the time the dream made sense because I had a lot of people questioning and some criticizing the way I eat at that time. Luckily those people have seemed to accept (although not support) the way I eat more now - and I've let go of worrying as much when people make fun of the way I eat. I know what's good for my health and I'm not going to sacrifice it to make other people happy. Honestly I still don't understand why people really try to convince me to eat other foods because I'm the healthiest I've been in years - maybe ever - and I know they see that. A friend of my said that the reason why it makes some people so upset is because I am so disciplined about it and other people wish that could commit so deeply to their health. Perhaps she is right.
