I need to get mean!

That whole idea is so misunderstood. You don't need to get mean, you just need to stick to your guns, always. Always do what you think is right, always voice your true opinion, always do what YOU want to do.

Believe it or not, those ab shots work, especially for younger men.  Here's an article with a statistical analysis from the OKCupid site showing that ab shots are almost twice as effective as the average photograph for 20 year old men:

http://blog.okcupid.com/index.php/the-4-big-myths-of-profile-pictures/

I'm surprised and not. I read the article and it seems they sampled younger women, but found the trend to decrease as the women got older. They coudln't say if it was because the bodies on older men became more attractive or if it was a change in the way women view things.

For me personally, I think it's a change in thought. At nearly 45 years old, I really do think that if a man only has the "here look at my body and my toys" rather than his character, he's probably not going to be a good fit in my life.

I would say, "sex is not for recreation, sex is for procreation."

Kinda - but I hope not. There are a lot of other real physical benefits to the body for having sex besides having children. And personally, I don't intend on giving it up even though I'm done breeding little humans.  ;D

Look at what is going on in Africa - war, and look at all of the reports of the women being raped there.  Don't you think that the warring factions are going to replace the current male populations with their own offspring?  there was a line in Braveheart regarding "breed them out."

We are the descendants of the winners of life.

I would like to thank my ancestor, Genghis Khan... etc.

Genghis Khan... what an idol!

From what I've seen that defies the "Cougar" trend.  LOL!

I HEAR THAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;D From my perspective, having children is the least favorable. Humans are the cancer cells of the planet.

War's inhumanity serves 3 purposes, it culls the herd, selects the strongest and opens up the gene pool.

That's a nice idea but it just did not work that way in the modern world. WW1 and 2 absolutely destroyed the best of the male British gene pool, how could it not? Machine gun fire and charges from the trench are completely indiscriminate. WW2 especially was devolution at its finest.

I think it's pretty tough being a guy right now, and women are hard to please.  The line between being too masculine and too feminine is pretty thin.  Most women don't want to be completely controlled (as it was in the past) but there's still that desire for power, assertiveness, and confidence.
Attractiveness in a man means nothing if he doesn't assert himself, not true at all with women. There isn't any one approach that works for all. The "treat women like dirt" works for guys who sleep around with women that usually have low self esteem. The sophisticated type might get more luck with professional women who expect a lot from a mate. As they should. I don't blame women for having standards.
Then the alpha equation comes in. No matter what type of guy it is, the underlying factor, whether it's marriage or a 1 night stand, is exhibiting some form of dominance and control.

I'd love to sleep around with hundreds of women, and any man that says he wouldn't is lying. It's that my personality doesn't attract any of them. I have this narcisistic like personality that I've had since a little kid, parallel playing, never wanting to socialize. I can't interact with other people other than on a business or casual level. Once people get to know me, they lose interest completely. So since I can't even have male friends, women are out of the equation completely. It's not something that bothers me, but some guys can't take celibacy well.

Agreed. I think Wlfdg means we don't need so many people on this planet. Technology has allowed everyone to survive, which goes against the human code of survival. It's not in the human condition to help those in need, it's to let them die or kill them.

They have no real interest in relating to women either - for them women are people you have sex with, not people you're friends with.

I hope this doesn't apply to me - I think I have the opposite problem and often find myself in the "friend zone", from where there's no route back to possible romance.
Just say no to "friends". It's defeatest

He's onto something.
I think suicide bombers are virgins / don't have access to sex with women so they are promised 77 virgins in heaven.

From a genetic perspective you are mistaken to do so.

I don't know about that? The weak aren't going to survive battles.

I really do try to give you the benefit of the doubt, but lines like the above are just idiotic. In a world that contains aids/hiv, syphillis, herpes, chlamydia etc, you're trying to suggest that unprotected (lifegiving) sex is safe sex? Wake the f@%k up.

His point is valid. He is saying that if sex is only for recreation, there is no continuation of species without reproduction.

I am not. I've only had 3 sex partners though. I want more sex. If it's a relationship, great. I'd love an interpersonal relationship as long as sex at least 6X/week is included. If it's FWB, great too. I'm up for either. Only time will tell what happens.
