Question, How much exercise do I need to do?
I have lost over a stone with no exercise at all...
I want to swim, walk and cycle.
It really depends on your goals. I do cardio, tabata, and strength training. For upper body and core I do body weight, push-ups, dips, crucnhes and pilates type activities 2-4 times a week. Lower body I use machine because I want to target the muscles that support my knee without hurting it with weight bearing activities (read, squats and lunges hurt right now). I run, cycle, and use the elliptical for cardio and tabata. I do that 3-5 times a week.
