Paleo Recipe search engine
« on: January 30, 2012, 10:15:37 AM »
I just used a little-known feature of Google called Custom Search to create a search engine that only looks at sites that are dedicated to Paleo recipes. If nothing else, this saves you keystrokes from typing "Paleo" when you are searching for recipes.
You can check it out at http://www.terryballard.org/Paleo.html  Sometimes, it gets stuck in "Loading" mode. If that happens the best bet is to leave the page and try again.

Following a recipe is not paleo since written language has only existed for 8,000 years.

Smart-arse!
The answer to your question is 'eat more fat'.

Stop counting calories. If you are eating Paleo, there is usually no need.

If you are having weight loss issues, it'd be a good idea to start posting a detailed food journal, then everyone can help.

'Anecdotal Evidence' is an oxymoron.

Clearly the site needs text to speech so it can give you the recipe verbally!

Yes, but it's well known that French caves had paintings with step-by-step directions for making duck confit.

Jokes aside, I really dig the site and if I come across any other paleo recipe sites I'll forward them onto you.

Thanks samjohn! I'm very open to suggested sites that I missed. About the only restriction is that the custom search software will not work with blogs. Otherwise, every good new site just strengthens the whole project.
