Rug Store
« on: January 29, 2010, 03:47:01 PM »
So there's a rug store that's been around longer than i've lived where I am, so 15+ years, however, in all my time I think i've only seen ONE couple go in there one time, and I go by it everyday for 15 years. So, I have been thinking that this place secretly is a drug operation, and I was thinking of going in there with a hidden camera and pretend im going in to buy a rug, but talk to him to say that I heard that they sell "'other stuff". So then take video and see his stash, then go out of the store eventually and report to police w/ video.

Or they see your camera, roll you up in a rug and dump you in the harbour :)
The answer to your question is 'eat more fat'.

Stop counting calories. If you are eating Paleo, there is usually no need.

If you are having weight loss issues, it'd be a good idea to start posting a detailed food journal, then everyone can help.

'Anecdotal Evidence' is an oxymoron.

Most dealers use tattoo parlours as their front, as it is a cash based business with little by way of overehads, that can charge thousands of dollars for a piece of work.

Have you ever bought a rug? If you mean like Persian rugs, they are very expensive. Thousands of dollars. The stock doesn't need to move very fast in order for them to stay in business.

And I would understand them not wanting kids in there, they can't sell a rug with stains on it.

Leave law enforcement to the pros.  If you really suspect something illegal is going on then most cities have an tip line for reporting suspected illegal activity.

A store that doesn't have many customers is not that suspicious. If a store like that had dozens of customers that drove up but left within a minute or two then that would be suspicious.

My MIL was very suspicous of her next door neighbor about 12 years ago.  One day this guy pulls into her driveway and starts asking us questions about the nieghbor.  My husband pointed to the house and got yelled at not to indicate we were talking about those neighors.  He was from teh U.S. Marshalls and the guy was on teh Most Wanted list.  He was a rrested a few days later!

If you suspect something, then call law enforcement and let them do their job.
