Hello. Not sure I qualify as advanced but have been here a while.  A few setbacks but overall, especially now, never felt better. I'm doing mostly meat, fish and eggs. Lots of water is key. I eat some vegies, salads, fruits. Weakness dairy, potatoes.  Still eating good cheese, occasional potatoes and drink soy milk for hormone balance righr now. Not all paleo but feel great without most carbs..bread, cereal, rice, pasta etc. Hope his helps :)

Hello! I can totally relate in so many ways! It's very frustrating but please dont think of yourself as a failure, although I often do myself! In successful times I do well on fruit , chicken and eggs, cooked any way. You could get some vegies in that way as an omelette maybe? i have another post with a tuna, egg bake pic. so simple and tasty. Ive been eating lots of bad stuff lately but am determined to keep trying. Every day is a new day and a chance for a new start. Thanks for reminding me. I read lots of different ideas online as well over the years. One thing that helps me is to try to go raw foods since it cuts out alot of options--pizza, potatoes, breads, pasta etc. I like smoked salmon(expensive though) and if not a vegie fan could always do more fruit maybe? Bye for now.

Hello. I like to keep it simple too. Easy snacks: vegetables and fruits. Hard boiled eggs. Once in a while I make a pan of tuna (2 cans drained) mixed with at least 6 eggs in a square cake pan. Bake for about 15 20 mins or until it is all solid. Cut into squares. Could do the same in muffin tin. Easy breakfast. Also love taking a bag of long carrots and bake for an hour with a bit of oil and rosemary spice. Tastes like candy! A few times I took a large pack of chicken drumsticks and boiled them up in a big pot of water. Too easy. Hope this helped a little

Dang chocolate eggs and cookies. I even gave most away! I find apples with avocado a nice treat but even sweeter roasted carrots with some rosemary sprinkled. Bake for close to an hour. I'm doomed with potatoes and cheese these days. Thinking of going really low carb as I find as soon as I eat I crave more. Would like to do just eggs and meat/fish for a while to calm my eating. Any tips on that would be appreciated too.

I love roasted carrots with rosemary. What you described sounds amazing! If only turnip wasn't so hard to prepare we would have it more often. Was already planning a carrot beet onion dish for this week. Can't wait! Thanks for your info

Looking forward to preparing a turkey dinner feast for 20.To stay away from potatoes will be a big challenge. Is turnip paleo?I do love them and will be making a huge quantity. In general planning to do more raw eating before and after the feast

Diet and nutrition / Re: Bloating, poor digestion

I have heard about too much fibre causing troubles. For me, brussel sprouts and cabbage are hardest. If I have  little or no fruit/vegies and focus on mostly meats I have less bloating. Drink lots of water too : )
