I use Amazon for many things. I use the subscribe and save plus Amazon mom to get 20% off.  Cheaper for quite a few things. I buy coconut milk, walnut and avocado oils, gluten free meat sticks, vitamins and such.

I just bought a set of pre-seasoned lodge cast iron that was on sale on Amazon, under the reviews someone gave a very detailed description of how to really season it well. It is sitting on my kitchen counter waiting for me to work on it :P

Hello!

Breakfast- 3 eggs in ghee

Snack- 3 paleo strawberry gummies . Oh man, surprised I actually like them, made them for my son but at just lemon juice, strawberries and gelatin, they were pretty good. Small sour bites!

Lunch- Celery and cream cheese

Dinner- No idea yet, cupboards are bare although plenty of meat in the freezer. Probably will just eat the last lonely brat in the fridge while I'm cleaning it out.

Wish me luck, I ate REALLY bad last week so I hope the detox is bearable, especially since I am struggling with pain in my face right now as well.  Been a on and off thing but more on than off for the last 6 months. Trying one last med then looking at a nerve block. Have many chronic issue but this pain is different and really unbearable. Like a toothache, the drilled and hit a nerve kind, almost all the time. Saw 3 dentists, a ENT and a neurologist and ready to try anything. 2 of the 4 think it is my trigeminal nerve. Runs above my teeth on my left side, up towards my nose and the cheek feels like I have been punched. The punched feeling is constant but the more severe above the teeth thing comes and goes.

Planned to hit grocery stores today but its crappy out there. Stocking up tomorrow. Pulling out ground beef and steaks to thaw. The beef is amazing! I may just drowned my sorrows in steak all week :P

Taking a break from paleo even though I am committed to it. Having a EGD done on the 23rd and don't want to skew the testing if they do a biopsy for Celiac disease or miss a chance to see the results under "normal" conditions. Right back on it after the testing.

Dinner- made a piece of the same "candy" from yesterday and that got my appetite going. Had my first steak from the new cow! Steak, spicy green beans a 3 sausage stuffed mushrooms :)

Ran late- Short shift today.

Breakfast- Drive thru Wendy's for a side of sausage and a side of bacon with mustard. Coke Zero.

Lunch- Sauteed mushrooms, onions and peppers with a little souvlaki. Smaller portion. Diet pepsi ( Ugh, working next to a fountain machine)

Home, little weak, sure I need some more carbs and calories but not feeling it at the moment. Husband has been super sick last few days. Hope I'm not catching it. Gonna take a hot bath and a nap.

Lol, coworker convinced me to take off a little early as they were making spaghetti and garlic bread for staff meal. That was a good call, i'm sure that would have caused a binge for me.

I have a overabundance of frozen fruit. I'll have to experiment to see which fresh fruits don't bother my tongue. Not allergic just geographic tongue. Fresh fruit and peels seem to be the worse and its really annoying more than painful. Like when you burn your tongue. Not planing on having smoothies as a regular thing either way.

Yesterday ended up being 1/2 a smoothie and leftovers the rest of the day.

Today:
Breakfast- 5 sausage stuffed mushrooms (leftovers) and Coke Zero
Lunch- 1/2 fruit smoothie with coconut milk
Snack- A weird 85% dark chocolate, pecan, coconut oil, small date concoction that was only a few bites but filled my craving
Dinner- 2 Turkey bacon avocado lettuce wraps and spicy green beans with ice tea

Beef thawing for tomorrow night. Don't want to make a habit out of the smoothies but might take one to work with me tomorrow to get through. Back up plan for work is Souvlaki over greek salad

Today was definitely better than yesterday.

I think it was someone here that said to do the opposite of what I had been told in the past. Doctors say to eat every 2 hours but that always made it worse. Not snacking and avoiding to many carbs in one sitting has completely fixed my dizziness except for that brought on by exercise. Atkins worked for my hypoglycemia to but I was not satisfied with it as a answer or as a long term solution.

Its funny, my husband who struggles with his weight would get upset that I hid sugar all over the house to keep me going. I lived off fast food and candy, continually eating more to keep from crashing. I got plenty of calories but am sure I am malnourished from years of that.

Thanks! I need goals based on improving my health and energy more than anything. I almost think that people assume I am healthy because I am a healthy weight and look young for my age. If one more freaking doctor tells me I look good, I'm gonna scream.

If I was 200+ lbs they might care if I said I'm exhausted, winded, can't exercise and hurt all over.

I had it packaged in 2 lb packages since I'm feeding 3-4 adults, a teenager and a 6 year old. Gonna take some planning as there is myself, 1 atkins, 1 SAD, and 3 borderline gluten free. Thinking lots of meatballs, meatloaves and meat sauces so I can bulk cook but meet everyone's needs. Good to hear about the fat as my husbands friend swears we won't be used to it and will burn the hamburger if we are not careful.

I think the smaller portions will be a good idea for next time though. I know they portion and label everything, is vacuum sealing usually optional or automatic for a processor?

Since there is a lot of ground beef and it is not fatty, do I need to add fat to the meat or just cook it in a heavy amount of coconut oil? I'm a newb and I'm sure I will be better prepared for next time. Are there any other special considerations I need to take into account? I did ask for bones but nothing else particularly special.

My husbands friend raised the cow but my husband HATES to ask questions. I know they did not use antibiotics or hormones on it but cannot say for sure what it all ate. Gonna enjoy this for what it is but would like to be more educated about what I am buying.

Late breakfast. Ended up having some white potato fried in coconut oil with 2 eggs on top. Not paleo, purely a crutch to not feeling well today.
Snacked on leftovers from yesterday rest of the day. Gonna take a hot bath and go to bed early.

My 1/2 cow will be here tomorrow afternoon. Maybe a few days of steaks will get me over the hump. Think it may be PMS, I don't get cramps but definitely do not feel well a few days before and generally feel like crap.

If you can handle 3 (or 2 in diapers at the same time) you can handle anything. :)

I have 4 and #4 was a piece of cake but I don't think my opinion counts for much since there is a decade between the last 2 :P
