Looks like this thread died, but you can do a lot of kettlebell exercises with a dumbbell instead. I even prefer the dumbbell for some things because my wrists don't do well with kbs.

I'd also disagree with doing 50 and feeling effortless. If that's the case, you're not even working out, you might as well take a nap.

Good kb exercises:
Turkish Get-ups
Kettlebell Swings
Single Arm Snatch
Goblet Squats

I'm an avid crossfitter, so I'm biased. Without knowing too much about your workouts, it's hard to make a recommendation, but you might try timing everything. I found that the one big thing that makes crossfit more demanding than anything else (in my opinion) is that you're always under the gun to do one more rep or shave off one more second.

When you say you hate coconut...  have you tasted coconut water? oil? meat? flour? milk?

I find a lot of people don't like sweetened, shredded coconut that you might find on a cupcake, but that's really nothing like the items you've listed.

I tried all sorts of substitutes for rice and stuff, but in the end found that a good thai curry without rice is just as good as with.

Ok so typically I get my animal fat from bacon.  So I cook bacon in a pan, and pour the fat from the pan to a jar.  Of course, there's little particals of burnt bacon all in the fat.  Any way to avoid this/clean the fat once I collect it?

Coffee filter over the mouth of the jar. Just don't pour too fast.

Hello fellow paleo eaters.

Cool glow effect. Anyway, I'm new here. Male. 30. Crossfitter. Amateur chef.

I don't eat paleo though, that's why I'm here. I've tried before but I've always given up after about a week. I love cooking and eating too much to stick with it for longer than that. Thai curry with faux rice just isn't the same, you know?

And maybe while I'm stealing ideas and recipes, I can share some cooking tips and crossfit knowledge.
