It's been months since I've posted.  My training has been a mix of Methode Naturalle and Kettlebells.  I really love the MN style workouts!  My focus has been on FUN!

This morning, took the dog with me for a MN workout, but there were way too many (3) hunters in the woods behind my house.  The dog doesn't do too well around other people (protective of me).  Cut it short, around 20 min.

 mid: Walk 45 min.
p.m.: 5 min. of:Turkish Get-ups w/55 lb. Kettlebell = 8 reps each hand (rest 2 min.)
5 min. of: Warrior Burpees (Burpee w/pullup and toes to bar) = 25 reps (rest 2 min.)
5 min. of:Turkish Get-ups w/55 lb. Kettlebell = 8 reps each hand (rest 2 min.)
5 min. of: Warrior Burpees (Burpee w/pullup and toes to bar) = 25 reps
Total: 26:00 (16 TGU's each hand, 50 warrior burpees) TOUGH WORKOUT!

        Windmill,
        Turkish Get-up,
        Pistol,
        Wt. Pull-up,
        Bottoms-up Clean & Press
Time: 28 min. (2 min rest/circuit)

Saturday:
a.m. 15 min Methode Naturalle style run (lots of sprints/jumps/throws/etc.)
p.m. # of rounds in 20 min. of:
        5 Ring Pull-ups
       10 Ring Push-ups (rings 6" above ground)
       15 Squats
Total: 17 rounds.  The push-ups were the toughest (some shoulder discomfort!?)

Sunday:
Yard work (~4 hours)

I love to run with my dog.  My usual running partner passed in February. :'(  This puppy is a tough one to train!  He is a mutt (part Jack Russell & ???), and is really hyper.   He will pull if someone/something is in front of him!

I have had a slight cold the last few days (one bad part about working in a prison--germs everywhere!), so I took it easy.  Mostly walking, myofascial-release, stretching, etc. 

Yesterday, 20 min. of Kettlebell "play" w/ 2 x 35 lbs. and 100 medicine ball slams (20 lbs.)
