Recipes and meal photos / How do you eat your sardines?

I need some creative ways other than plain right out of the can to eat sardines.  I just can't find an enjoyable way to eat them plain. I want to eat them on ritz crackers but as we all know, ritz is off the list.

Can you all help me find creative ways to eat these nutrient dense bad boys?

I've been taking 1200mg fish oil pills for several months now but after doing research perhaps Its a waste of money?  What other sources of omega 3's are there that are paleo.  I won't do farmed fish anymore either but I do eat canned sardines on days I've done heavy lifting or tough workouts...

Any thoughts on the fish oil supplements from the paleo crowd?

I've been doing Paleo since Feb. Lost nearly 70#'s.  Now my problem is I would like to gain healthy weight....I've been trying with heavy paleo/primal shakes in addition to my regular meals but I seem to not gain much.  My daily calorie intake can be up to 5,000 cals.  I'm very active and need ideas on what to eat that will be healthy and good for my energy levels.  I've considered eliminating one day of my endurance workouts to try to help but I really enjoy them as well as my Crossfit workouts I do.

Any good ideas you can share?   I realize most people do paleo to lose but I've enjoyed it so much especially the clean eating part that I really don't want to give it up and eat grains and sugar again to gain weight....That is not healthy weight IMO.

I'm grain, dairy,legume and sugar free for the most part but have always considered green beans a legume. Am I wrong?  Would fresh gr-beans be O.K for a paleo lifestyle?

Coffee, I drink a couple descent cups each and every day....plain black of course but should coffee be part of this lifestyle? I've heaqrd conflicting reports.....

Cashews....I cannot find raw cashews where I live.  Yes, I can order then online but I guess I don't really want too....My question is; can I continue to consume commercial brands like planters when it clearly states that they are roasted in one of the following oils...canola, safflower or sunflower?  I like salted cashews...I eat them sparingly but don't know if the oils are enough to stop me from eating them.

Been doing paleo for quite a while now and really enjoy it alongside my crossfit regimen...But, I have an issue with weekends.  I'm dead on paleo during the week with my structured schedule and all but once the w-end is here I tend to fall back on my old eating ways for some reason.   I'd say there are at least two week end meals that are not paleo.    My question is....What is this doing to my body?   I tend to beat myself up about it but with teenagers in the house and lots of activities going on its been tough to stay the course on weekends.    What to do?
