Food Journals / New to Paleo

Started Paleo 8/4/14 9 pds lost.

9/26/14
4eggs pan fried in olive oil
Kale and spinach salad
W/ grilled chicken strips and shrimp
Homemade beef jerky
Handful of almonds
Chicken breast and baked broccoli
Apple
I'm still new to this and taking it stages so I just started trying carb light about a week ago and I am still craving like crazy! Should I avoid apples(which is my favorite treat) until the cravings go away?

Introductions / New to Paleo

Hello all!

I am 32 yr old female. I've been very active my whole life but I have the diet of a 10 year old with no supervision. Seriously it's pretty bad. After years of fad diets and yo yo weight disasters I discovered Paleo. I decided to make this a lifestyle choice and found this site because I could use a community of like minded people. Living in the south i spend most of my time surrounded by biscuits and beer and I like knowing there are other people out there that I can get ideas and inspiration from. I started Paleo 2 months ago but did it in stages, to give my body a chance to adjust. Just giving up frozen dinners and processed sugar I've lost 9 pounds! Now I'm working on getting away from the processed meats and beans (which I will miss) and finding more vegetables to add to my diet. I look forward to reading everyone's post!
