I have heard that you can eat some sweet corn, without chewing them, to check how effective your digestive system is. The faster they come out the more effective digestive system. Might give it a try some day.

I'll read about this bloodtype A and nutrition thing. Something to do with enzymes lacking in the dna if i remember correctly.

Not a bad idea.

One thing I don´t understand, eating paleo. Why eat beef and pork? They´re hard on the
human digestive system and theiy´re highly acid forming. If i could afford it, I would  eat nothing
but veggies, yams etc. eggs and nothing but fatty fish, shellfish and crustations.

Do you guys have any issus with digesting beef and pork, contra poultry and fish?

Go for Brazil nuts and sunflower seeds. Highest Selenium content of any foods in Brazilnuts and
highest overall nutrition content in sunflower seeds.

I tried making m own sauerkraut, since all the store-bought fermented foods I
could find, was pasteurized (good and bad bacteria getting killed).
Worked very well on my gut, but your changing the bacterial flora, so go slow in
the beginning.

The Australian Sports Comitee,  rank sports foods and supplement ingredients into four groups based on scientific evidence, A, B, C and D, where A shows the most scientific proof of improving sports performance.
Probiotics is listed in the A category.

Look for the name Sandor Katz, if you want recipes for fermented foods.

Hi everyone

The last couple of years, I have been through so many different ways of eating, because of a stomac issues.

Finally it seems I have found the right way of eating, integrating a lot of the Paleo principles into my daily food intake. Something have puzzled me though. In my local fitness-centre, here in Denmark where I live, I have noticed that all the Protein-bars they sell are...well...crap.

So I got an idea for a new Paleo protein-bar and I put all the ingredients together, trying to get so many nutritions in it as possible, all ingredients natural (not made in a laboratory, but harvested from nature). I have attatched the list, showing all the nutritions etc.

Would this be a good post-workout proteinbar, looking at the nutritions?
