There are a couple of recipes here that should be paleo friendly:

I haven't tried them yet though so not sure how they taste...

Thanks again rentawitch--I'm SOOO excited!!

And I'll totally look into The Warrior Diet--I've been doing some IFing that is not as intense as the WD, I believe (I've been doing a 5-8 hour eating window, w/ 16-19 hour fasts).  I'm nursing too so not feeling ready to go really intense atm, but from what I've read online it sounds really cool and might be something I'd want to check out... Thanks!!!  :)

Wowee!!!  Congratulations!

I love reading stuff like this!  Really proves that this is the way we are *meant* to eat!

Thanks for the welcome all, and thanks for the links TWS and Warren!

I think I'll be able to borrow a copy of Neanderthin from one of the members here, which I'm VERY excited about!!!   ;D

Thanks Tarlach!  Any other favorite books to recommend?  Are you the same Tarlach from MDA, cause if so I really get a lot out of reading your posts.  And you've got me really interested in carnivorism (is that the right way to say it?  :D).  The more I read, the more it sounds like a really good, healthy idea....

I'm new to this forum, but have been eating a grain free diet for months now, and have moved more paleo since reading on Mark's Daily Apple.  (I eat lots of meat, good fats, veggies, fruit, nuts and seeds and some tubers--I know they're not paleo.  ::)  We've been gluten/dairy/soy/corn free for almost 2 years now due to my son's food sensitivities, and dropping grains and sugars along w/ most legumes has made a positive impact in how I look and feel.  I still do small amounts of peanut butter b/c my ds can't tolerate any nuts--just a few seeds--working on making my own seed butters so I can drop peanuts, and therefore legumes all together.  I NEED a better blender or food processor though!!)

Anyway, I am LOVING my *almost* paleo diet, and really enjoying how I feel eating this way.  I've also started playing around w/ IF a bit and am just wanting to learn more and more and more!  (IF'd until dinner tonight and feeling good!)  I'm very interested in this diet b/c of the health benefits, and just want to read all I can about it.  I've read _The Garden of Eating_ (cookbook, but still got great info on why to choose a more paleo diet), _The Primal Blueprint_, _Protein Power Lifeplan_ and _Primal Body--Primal Mind_ (which I'm still on the fence about in some respects...).  I'm dying to read _Neanderthin_, and have thought about reading _The Paleo Diet_, although Cordain's stance on fats makes me shudder (I'm all about the good fat!)  I've also read the GCBC notes, but not the actual book.  I'd love to look into any other book or site recs you all have.   ;D

I just want to learn everything I can about this WOE, and am glad I found this forum!  Seems like this is more strict paleo than MDA, which I'm excited about, specifically from the non-dairy perspective.

Thanks for reading!  I'm excited to learn from and with you all!!!   :)
