I've dropped 10 lbs from 230 lbs to 220 lbs pretty quickly. 8-10 days. But I have stuck at 220 lbs (with occasional dips to 219) pretty steady for almost two weeks now. I get a decent amount of strength training via work though and augment with a bit of weight lifting so while my scale says 220 lbs when I look in the mirror I see I am leaner. Appearance suggests I am dropping fat while maintaining and adding to lean muscle. And I'll take that. I have 25 lbs of fat to spare based on my weight of 195 lbs when I was in good shape before wrecking my body with crap. But it took me four years to go from 195 lbs to 250 lbs so I can be patient going from 220 lbs to 195 lbs.
