That is really great!  What has been the hardest thing for yout to change?  Do you crave certain foods?  Have you experimented with more receipes or do you cook pretty standard fare?  I am not much of a big cook but am really wanting to move towrads this way of life.  Your progress is definately an inspiration.  I excercise 5-6 days a week and am wanting to lose weight so much and think this way of eating may be my key to finally having success.  Any thoughts and info would be appreciated!
Thank you.

I don't miss much.  And when I have some of the stuff that I loved before, it jsut doesn't taste as good.  Like brownies.  I always loved brownies and tried to eat one a few weeks into the new lifestyle and could only eat half.

I experiement with flavors a lot.  I like food that tastes good, if it was boring I wouldn't enjoy it.  I know food is fuel, but I want my fuel to be yummy.  I eat a lot of homemade beef jerky to fill in the gaps.

So I have not done well with keeping up with my progress notes.

Today I weighed 162 pounds.  In just 3 pounds i will reach 159, and be under 160 for the first time in a long, long time.  I think even when I came in the Air Force I amy have been 155, so I am almost to my early Air Force weight.  My goal has always been 150 and I thought that would be impossible, but with paleo it isn't.  So I will reevaluate where I want to be when I get there.  But, I will be forever happy with 150, anything below that is gravy!

Hey! no gravy allowed is there? :D

Seriously, though very well done. You are looking really good. I dislike those back wrinkles - I have those and I see yours have almost disappeared. I would be so happy not to have them! Great inspiration. :)

What is wrong with gravy?  Full of meat drippings, yummy fat and soem water...sounds fine to me, just leave out the flour or cornstarch for thickening.

Thanks for the compliments though.  I will be so glad to say 'goodbye' to the back fat forever!

yes I see what you mean about the gravy. I think of the thick stuff.
Is there anyway to thicken gravy without using flour or similar?

Arrowroot can be used to thicken up sauces :)
You got a dream, you've got to protect it. People can't do something themselves, they wanna tell you you can't do it. You want something, go get it. Period.

Arrowroot is a tuber (and not paleo).
The "Seven Deadly Sins"

• Grains (wheat/rice/oats etc) . . . . . • Dairy (milk/yogurt/butter/cheese etc)
• Refined foods (salt/sugars etc ) . . • Nightshades (peppers/tomato/eggplant)
• Tubers (potato/arrowroot etc) . . . . • Legumes (soy/beans/peas)
• Modernly palatable (cashews/olives etc)

Lots and lots of reduction. Bacon fat helps too.
The answer to your question is 'eat more fat'.

Stop counting calories. If you are eating Paleo, there is usually no need.

If you are having weight loss issues, it'd be a good idea to start posting a detailed food journal, then everyone can help.

'Anecdotal Evidence' is an oxymoron.

These are amazing photos!  I'm gonna take some like that of me when I get home today!  My final one (eventually) is gonna be in some kind of hot bathing suit or something though!
