My tastebuds seem to be changing ...

I'm not far in but it seems my tastebuds are adjusting already. I'm not 100% paleo yet, still transitioning. I tried some bread and apricot jam the other day and it tasted disgusting! The jam was waaaaay too sweet. It's an experience I won't be repeating. And I seem to be getting more sensitive to salty foods too, not that I've cut out all salt but not eating processed foods takes most of it away anyway.
I'm surprised at how quickly this is happening. I'm very encouraged as it will make it easier to stay on track.

I know what you mean! A few weeks ago I was sick, and my sweet husband (just trying to help) bought some Campbell's chicken broth for me. I didn't tell him, but I couldn't eat it--I opened the can and it didn't even smell like food to me.
Now I keep my own homemade broth in small portions in the freezer. Egg drop soup is a frequent lunch--fast and easy.

Soups are pretty gross to me too, unless it's made out of pureed veg like tomato-based soups. Tomato-basil bisque! But every other soup available has pasta or barley or some other filler that I don't want. I'll opt for solid food, thank you, lol!

I know how you feel. After 7 months paleo, the idea of eating a bowl of pasta or sandwich just fills me with fear!
Non foods just turn my stomach
If I ever cheat with a dessert at a restaurant, I get creme brulee.
My sweet tooth has been replace by a fat tooth.

If your food needs a prefix, it's not paleo!

After less than a month on Paleo, salted foods were tooooo salty and sweet foods were tooooo sweet! BUT: fish, beef, lamb, chicken, eggs and eventually pork tasted BETTER than before. JMull
