Thanks Warren and Posy!

I don't know if I've lost any pounds, though, I don't have a scale.

I think with an all meat diet there is no need for fermentation space in the gut to ferment vegetation thus the gut shrinks.  What do the zero carb dieters have to say about this issue?

Thanks Maria!

Yes, I think I have heard that, GoodSamaritan!

I wanted to post some more pics, after about a week solid of mostly meat (with a few bites of cheats here and there, I'll be honest!), I am definitely slimmer and my tummy is really a lot flatter. Also my cellulite is gone (I used to have a little bit on my behind).

So on the left is just Paleo, on the right is mostly-meat Paleo (Can you see that my tummy is a lot flatter?):

And sorry I don't have any back shots from before, but I am really pleased with the improvement from mostly meat-only, no more cellulite:

You can see also since adding in a little bit of chestnuts/other Paleo stuff to the meat, my skin color has improved too. I'm not pale anymore as I was with meat-only:

Strict meat-only (can you see I am kind of pale?):

The paleness was really noticeable in my face, and I had some dark circles under my eyes too. That's why I thought adding a little bit of other Paleo foods to the meat-only is probably best.

I wanted to mention too, that I've lost so many inches around my waist and hips that I finally had to break down yesterday and buy some new skirts and dresses. My old ones just didn't fit anymore!

My waist sizes are getting smaller too. At my peak waist size I was wearing size 34. Before paleo I had gotten down to comfortable 32, tight 31. Now the 31s are relatively loose and the 32s are too loose. I need to get some 30s or 29s.

I, too, have had to buy new clothes.  In fact, I've had to buy all new winter clothes.  My weight loss is at 45 pounds now.  I'm down to a size 8 from an 18.  ;D  My next project is taking in my Halloween costume from a couple years ago so I can wear it in a few weeks.

I finally got my wife to take a picture of me.  I didn't look very different before as I'm on paleo for health rather than weight loss.  Sorry about the flash shadow.

We should merge this thread with the other picture thread.

You're right, we probably should merge the two threads, huh?

Just wanted to add that I don't have the paleness anymore since switching to pastured meat-only!
